Each prescription we provide is a step toward hope.

Weekly Medical Support Update | 17 July 2026

Through Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVT), we’re committed to supporting families affected by chronic illnesses.

This week:

- 6 patients have been registered under our Curative Medicine Programme and received essential medicines.
- 2 critically ill patients received emergency medicines, including IVIG for a patient with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), through one-time relief support.
- 3 children, aged 15 years, 9 years, and 13 months, were enrolled under Sehat-e-Bachpan, while another child received emergency medicines.

To date, HPVT supports thousands of patients with chronic illnesses every month by providing free medicines, with a monthly expenditure of around â‚ą25 lakh.

"Hussainiyat – A Shared Legacy for Humanity'
The Chairman of Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPV Trust), Mr. Farooq Ahmad Bhat, had the privilege of participating in the "Hussainiyat – A Shared Legacy for Humanity" Interfaith Dialogue, organized by EHSAAS International.
The event brought together distinguished religious leaders, academicians, policymakers, civil society representatives, professionals, and students to promote peace, justice, mutual understanding, and social harmony inspired by the universal values of Imam Hussain (AS).
The conference was a truly enriching experience, offering valuable insights into the importance of interfaith dialogue, mutual respect, and the shared responsibility of serving humanity beyond all divisions. It reinforced HPV Trust's commitment to compassionate, inclusive, and selfless service for all.
We sincerely thank EHSAAS International for organizing this inspiring platform and look forward to applying these valuable lessons in our continued mission of serving humanity.

A Final Journey with Dignity.
A young boy tragically lost his life in a road accident outside Jammu & Kashmir. After his mortal remains arrived at Srinagar Airport, Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVTrust) arranged the transportation of his body to his native home in Bijbehara through its mortuary vehicle. In moments of unimaginable grief, extending a helping hand is a shared human responsibility. We pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and blesses the bereaved family with strength, patience, and solace during this difficult time. HPVTrust remains committed to serving humanity with compassion, dignity, and respect—even in life's most difficult moments. May Allah grant the deceased eternal peace and give strength to the family.

Compassion in Action. Hope in Every Prescription.
During the weekly meeting of the HPVTrust Curative Medicine Project, held on 10th July 2026 at the HPVTrust Centre, 5 new deserving patients were approved for free medicines after a detailed assessment.
The newly registered patients include: 2 patients with CKD/ESRD 1 patient with Old Stroke, HTN & Rheumatoid Arthritis 1 patient with T2DM & Chronic Liver Disease 1 patient with HTN, T2DM & CKD
In addition, 4 critically ill patients received emergency medical support, including medicines, an SDAP Kit for an AML patient, IVIG for a GBS patient, and emergency medicines for a young patient with a seizure disorder.
Thousands of patients are already registered under the HPVTrust Curative Medicine Project and receive free medicines every month, with a monthly medicine budget of approximately â‚ą25 lakh.
Together, we remain committed to ensuring that no patient is denied treatment because of financial hardship. Every contribution helps save lives and restore hope.

Making Liver Health a Priority – One Screening at a Time
Friday | 10th July 2026, Next On 24 th july 2026
Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVTrust), in collaboration with Zydus Lifesciences, successfully organized a Free FibroTouch Liver Screening Camp at HPVTrust Pharmacy Unit-II (Healthy Minds), Daresh Kadal Chowk, Safa Kadal, Srinagar.
The camp witnessed the participation of 31 individuals, all of whom underwent free FibroTouch liver scans for the early detection of liver fibrosis and fatty liver disease.
Participants with abnormal scan findings were counselled in detail by Dr. Syed Riyaz Hamdani, Project Manager, KASHMER. Those requiring specialized care were referred to expert consultants for further evaluation and appropriate management, ensuring timely medical intervention.
Liver diseases often remain silent until they become serious. Early screening can make a life-changing difference by identifying problems before complications arise. Through this initiative, HPVTrust continues its commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and ensuring that quality health services are accessible to every member of the community.
We sincerely thank Zydus Lifesciences for their valued collaboration, Dr. Syed Riyaz Hamdani for his expert guidance, and our dedicated volunteers and healthcare team whose tireless efforts made this camp a success. Above all, we thank every participant who took a proactive step towards protecting their health.

Humanity has no boundaries.
Mr. Rishem Mehta, a 42-year-old resident of Gujarat, was visiting Kashmir with his family when he met with a tragic road accident. He remained admitted in the ICU from 3rd June 2026 until he sadly passed away on 7th July 2026. During this difficult period, Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVTrust), in coordination with the hospital administration, extended every possible support to the family under the leadership of our Member and incharge SMHS Hospital Mr. Muhammad Ali Lone After his demise, our valued member, Mr. Ashok Jain ji compassionately assisted the family in performing the last rites and cremation. We pray for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.

A Small Help, A New Beginning | 26th June 2026
Sometimes, the difference between pain and hope is just one helping hand.
Through our Curative Medicine Project (with a monthly budget of nearly â‚ą25 lakh), Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVT) received a request from a Medical Officer at Bone & Joint Hospital, Srinagar, for a patient from a poor tribal family awaiting an urgent Total Hip Replacement surgery. After exhausting all their resources, the family was still short of â‚ą25,000.
With the support of our generous donors, HPVT stepped forward and provided the remaining amount.
Alhamdulillah, the surgery was successfully performed.
This wasn't just financial assistance—it was hope restored, pain relieved, and a family given a second chance to smile.
May Allah (SWT) accept every contribution and reward all our donors and well-wishers abundantly. Ameen. 🤲❤️
