Residents in the Khanda area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district take part in a humanitarian donation drive in solidarity with people in Iran, where ongoing conflict has caused widespread damage to civilian infrastructure. Both Shia and Sunni Muslim communities contribute cash, land, gold jewellery and domestic animals, with women donating personal valuables to support relief and reconstruction efforts. A BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED ON 07/03/2026 BY 132 BN, CRPF, LAL CHOWK, SRINAGAR

On the occasion of the 87th CRPF day celebration, one day Blood donation camp was organized on 07/03/2026 at F/132 BN, CRPF, Lal Chowk, Srinagar in collaboration with Ujala Cygnus Hospital, Srinagar. The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri W.R Josuah, Commandant 132 Bn, CRPF, which was participated by the CRPF officers/personnel as well as civilian participants. This blood donation camp witnessed enthusiastic and overwhelming response from volunteers who donated their Blood. This noble service reflects the spirit of dedication and compassion that CRPF personnel uphold not only in safeguarding the nation, but also to save the human beings. The donors were provided light refreshment, certificate and medals to acknowledge them.
