Falah E Aam behbood Committee Rajbagh Zero Bridge Srinagar Kashmir J&K Expresses Deep Condolences on the Demise of Mrs. Khalida Rafiq Of Kursoo Rajbagh.

Srinagar, October 04, 2026: Management /Chairman Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh Zerobridge,M Altafdar Rajbagh has expressed his profound grief and heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Mrs. Khalida, wife of Haji Mohammad Rafiq Dar (BSNL Employee), and daughter-in-law of Late Haji Ali Mohammad Dar (Qadir Dar), resident of Kursoo Rajbagh.

He conveyed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul Jannat-ul-Firdous and give the family strength, patience and courage to bear this irreparable loss.

He particularly expressed his heartfelt sympathies to her son, Harris Rafiq, daughter, Mrs. Rafia, and all her brothers, sisters and other family members, and prayed that Almighty Allah grant them Sabr-e-Jameel during this difficult time.

He also appealed to all relatives, friends and well-wishers to join the family in offering prayers for the Maghfirat of the departed soul and to extend their support and solidarity to the bereaved family.

The condolences and mourning will be observed for three days.

Srinagar, 01 October 2026: Chairman of the Falah E Aam behbood Committee Rajbagh Zero Bridge Srinagar Kashmir J&K, M Altafdar Rajbagh, visited the residence of the bereaved family of Late Wali Muhammad Dar of Kursoo Rajbagh, who passed away recently.
During the visit, M Altafdar Rajbagh conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them during this difficult period of grief.
Remembering Late Wali Muhammad Dar, he said that the deceased was known as a noble, humble, gentle and good-hearted person. His passing is a deep loss not only for his family and relatives but also for friends, neighbours and the wider local community.
M Altafdar Rajbagh prayed that Allah SWT may forgive the deceased, shower His infinite mercy upon him, grant him Maghfirat and the highest مقام in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give the bereaved family the strength and Sabr-e-Jameel to bear this irreparable loss.

Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh Urges SMC to Remove Dustbins Near Khujbagh Crossing, Kursoo Rajbagh

Srinagar, 9 September 2026: Falah E Aam behbood Committee Rajbagh Zero Bridge Srinagar Kashmir J&K Chairman M Altafdar Rajbagh has urged the Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) to immediately remove the dustbins placed near Khujbagh Crossing, Kursoo Rajbagh, stating that their present location has become a serious nuisance for the local community.

He said the accumulated waste is attracting stray dogs and creating safety concerns for residents, students attending nearby coaching centres, and particularly people visiting the nearby mosque to offer Namaz.

M Altafdar requested the SMC to shift the dustbins to a suitable designated location and ensure regular sanitation and cleanliness at the site.

He expressed hope that the concerned authorities would take prompt and necessary action in the larger public interest.

Kashmir Cannot Afford Another 2014: Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh Seeks Clarity Over Proposed Deep Drain Through Bund Road at Kursoo Rajbagh

“Flood safety must come before development. Prevention today can save lives tomorrow.”

Srinagar, 8 Sep 2026: The Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh has urged the concerned authorities to immediately clarify the proposed construction of a deep drain reportedly passing through the Bund Road near the residence of G. M. Zargar at Kursoo, Rajbagh.

Chairman M. Altafdar questioned whether the project has undergone the necessary technical assessment, environmental and flood-safety evaluation, and whether adequate safeguards have been incorporated before its ex*****on.

He stressed that any intervention involving a bund, flood-protection structure or major drainage infrastructure must be scientifically assessed to ensure that it does not compromise the safety of surrounding residential areas.

General Secretary Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat appealed to the concerned authorities to make the project design, approvals, technical assessment and proposed safety measures public before proceeding with the work.

The Falah E Aam behbood Committee Rajbagh Zero Bridge Srinagar Kashmir J&K called for a transparent and precautionary approach and urged the administration to undertake an independent technical review, if required, particularly in view of Kashmir's experience with the devastating 2014 floods.

The Committee emphasized that development is important, but public safety and flood protection must remain the first priority. Any project that could potentially affect the existing flood-management system should be carefully examined before implementation.

The Committee urged the Honorable Omar Abdullah , Manoj Sinha ,Office of Chief Minister, J&K, Office of LG, J&K ,Divcom Kashmir , Office of Deputy CM Surinder choudhary,Director Department of Information & Public Kashmir,Chief Engineer Roads and Buildings Kashmir,Chief Engineer Flood Irrigation Department, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation authorities to ensure that no development work inadvertently increases flood risks for Rajbagh, Khujbagh, Kursoo or the wider Srinagar area.
