Associates of the J&K RTI Foundation met Inspector Khursheed Ahmad, SHO Police Station Magam, and DySP Mohd Ashrif Lissery (JKPS), SDPO Magam, to discuss collective efforts for protecting Nallah Ferozpora. The officers assured their full support for citizen-led environmental initiatives and prompt action on pollution-related concerns.

After a long time, members of the J&K RTI Foundation came together today at Beerwah to reconnect, reflect on our journey, and discuss the future direction of the organization.

The meeting focused on transparency, accountability, public welfare, environmental concerns, RTI awareness, and strengthening civic participation in Jammu & Kashmir. Old meeting records reminded us that this journey has always been rooted in collective public commitment and democratic engagement.

Today’s gathering marked not just a reunion, but the revival of a shared vision for responsible public action.
