Our Eid-ul-Fitr celebration was truly special this year. Our President, "Mr. Abdul Aziz Rawa", joined the children for a day of warm interactions, laughter, and festive treats. 🤝

The highlight of the day was welcoming back **five of our daughters** who joined CHINAR Kashmir at a very young age. Today, they are shining examples of our mission—currently pursuing **Master’s degrees** or thriving in their **professional careers**.

Their journey from CHINAR Home to successful adulthood inspired every child present, proving that with the right support, the sky is the limit!

CHINAR Kashmir proudly hosted a Get-Together and Career Counseling Session at CK Home to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of our RCSP and CK Home students in the JKBOSE Class 10th, 11th, and 12th results.

The session began with an address by Director Wali Muhammad Mallik, followed by insightful guidance from Lecturer Mohammad Rafiq, Chartered Accountant Mohammad Aaqib Bhat, and Medical Officer Ms. Aamina Batool.

A special highlight was hearing from our inspiring STEP UP achievers — medical professional Kifayat Ali Bhat and medical student Zeenat Hassan Hurra — whose journeys motivated our graduates.

The event concluded with certificates of appreciation presented to our speakers and guests. Congratulations to all our successful students as they step confidently toward bright futures!

CHINAR Kashmir Students Shine In JKBOSE Class 10th & 12th Results (2025-26)

At CHINAR Kashmir, education is more than a curriculum—it is a pathway to dignity, self-reliance, and a brighter future. We are proud to share the outstanding performance of our children in the Academic Session 2025–26 JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th examinations.

This year, 30 students under our care appeared for the Board exams through our two core Educational Support Programmes: the Remote Child Sponsorship Programme (RCSP), which supports children within their own communities, and the CHINAR Home Programme (CHP), which provides a nurturing, family-like environment for those needing comprehensive care.

Their success reflects the consistent guidance, mentoring, and academic supervision provided by CHINAR Kashmir, reaffirming that with the right support, every child can excel.

Class 10th Results: A Strong Foundation for the Future

In the Class 10th examinations, 17 students (15 from RCSP and 2 from CHP) appeared and delivered an excellent performance. A majority secured distinctions, laying a strong foundation for higher secondary education.

Out of 17 students, 10 scored above 90%, 3 above 80%, 3 above 70%, and 1 above 65%. The outstanding result—especially the 10 students scoring above 90%—reflects rigorous academic follow-up and the dedication of our mentors and tutors.

Class 12th Results: Stepping into New Horizons

In the Class 12th examinations, 13 students (12 from RCSP and 1 from CHP) appeared and demonstrated strong academic focus. Of them, 4 scored above 90%, 4 above 80%, 3 above 70%, 1 above 65%, and 1 above 55%.

With 8 students securing above 80%, our seniors are well-prepared to pursue higher education and move confidently toward their future careers.

A Testament to Structured Support

Our success reflects CHINAR Kashmir’s structured enrolment and continuous monitoring—going beyond fee support to include regular academic follow-ups, mentorship, and holistic care. Prioritizing Health: RBSK Team Conducts Medical Checkup At CHINAR Home

At CHINAR Kashmir, we believe that a healthy body is the foundation for a sharp mind. To ensure the well-being of our children, we recently organized a comprehensive medical health checkup at CHINAR Home.

The screening was conducted by the dedicated team from the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), arriving from the District Hospital Budgam. The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram is a vital government initiative aimed at early identification and intervention for children.

The medical team spent the day meticulously examining the children at CHINAR Home. The doctors and healthcare staff from District Hospital Budgam provided not just medical assessments, but also valuable health education, teaching the children about the importance of hygiene, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the District Hospital Budgam and the RBSK team for their professionalism and care. Periodic health screenings like these are crucial in ensuring that any potential health hurdles are addressed before they can impact a child’s education or quality of life.

Coding The Future: CHINAR Kashmir & KEI Team Up For Python Programming

CHINAR Kashmir, in collaboration with the Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI), has successfully launched a comprehensive 4-week Python programming course for students of CHINAR Home. The program commenced today with enthusiastic participants from Classes 8 to 12 and aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping young learners with in-demand technical skills for the 21st-century workforce.

Why python?

Python, often called the “language of the future,” was chosen for its simplicity, versatility across fields like web development, data science, and AI, and its strong global demand. The initiative seeks to spark early interest in computer science and transform students from technology users into confident creators.

The inaugural session introduced students to basic logic and coding concepts, setting the foundation for advanced projects in the coming weeks. The launch was overseen by CHINAR Kashmir leadership and industry experts to ensure quality mentorship. Mrs. Shazia Shafi, Programme Manager at CHINAR Kashmir, encouraged students and highlighted the importance of digital literacy, while Mr. Abdul Wajid Parray, a seasoned software professional, provided technical guidance and real-world industry insights.
