There is a need of strong values within society like commitment and volunteering, leadership and courage, compassion and generosity, charity and sacrifice, dedication and determination, optimism and motivation, perseverance and hope, loyalty and belief, honesty and sportsmanship, love and humility. Action needs to be based on what is happening around us and the mission of the Forum is to accelerat
e a social change by implementing programmes that demonstrate effective solutions. We need to pass on to the new generation values that create society leaders who shall strengthen the roots of culture. Natural calamities come at intervals, terrorist attacks are also occasional but it is the different value systems existing in society that bring on emotional conflicts in day to day life and these collective unsettled sentiments lead to anger, hatred, aggressiveness and wars. To strengthen the value system, a value-based education is to be imparted, affordable health facilities are to be made available and the economic support to each human being is to be assured. Providing education for boys and girls, eradicating poverty and hunger, fighting diseases, empowering women to be self-reliant, assisting in relief and rehabilitation efforts, caring for environment and spreading peace through the study of similarities existing in all religions are the main concerns of The Inner Call. The vision is to assist all individuals to realize their full potential, to be the catalyst that actualizes dreams and aspirations, to be the trusted channel that is secular and transparent for philanthropic funding from individuals and foundations, NGOs and non-profit agencies and to be a credible professional organization that lends civil and legal support to those in distress.
