SDM Uri Reviews Development Plan for Bosiyan Tourism Destination; Key Infrastructure Proposals Discussed

In a major push towards developing Bosiyan, Gingal as a premier tourist destination, SDM Uri convened a meeting with Syed Moeen Geelani,, along with his team, officials from the Rural Development Department, including the AEE and JEE, and local stakeholders.
During the meeting, Geelani highlighted the urgent need for safe drinking water facilities, describing it as one of the most critical requirements for tourists and visitors. He also proposed the establishment of a cafeteria to improve visitor amenities and recommended the beautification and maintenance of the Indian National Flag site, making it a more attractive landmark for tourists.
Local residents actively participated in the discussion, raising various developmental issues concerning Bosiyan and assuring the administration of their full cooperation in the implementation of upcoming tourism projects.
The meeting concluded on a highly positive note, with a collective commitment from the administration, technical departments, and the local community to move forward with the proposed development works aimed at strengthening tourism infrastructure in the area.
