JKBC Congratulates Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji on Being Entrusted with Prabhari – North India Responsibility

Srinagar, September 14, 2026:
The Jammu and Kashmir Business Confederation (JKBC) has conveyed its warm congratulations and best wishes to Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji on being entrusted with the important responsibility of Prabhari – North India, overseeing the CAIT State Chapters of Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Haryana.

JKBC President M Altafdar Rajbagh congratulated Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji and described the new responsibility as a recognition of his dedication, organisational acumen, leadership qualities and sustained contribution to strengthening the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) and promoting the interests of the business and trading community.

M Altafdar Rajbagh expressed confidence that Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji’s experience, commitment and organisational vision would help establish stronger coordination and greater synergy among the CAIT State Chapters across North India, while further enhancing communication between the State Chapters and the central leadership.

He said that the business and trading community across the region requires greater unity, coordination and collective representation to effectively address emerging challenges and ensure that the genuine concerns and aspirations of traders receive appropriate attention at every level.

“Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji has earned this important responsibility through his commitment, organisational experience and dedicated service to the trading community. I am confident that under his able guidance, the CAIT State Chapters across North India will achieve greater coordination, stronger representation and new milestones in the times ahead,” M Altafdar Rajbagh said.

The JKBC President further expressed hope that Shri Sumit Agarwal Ji would take forward the spirit of cooperation and collective action and contribute towards creating a more united, organised and effective business community across North India.

JKBC Extends Heartfelt Condolences to Er. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on the Demise of His Father-in-Law
Srinagar, June 10, 2026: The Management of JKBC – Jammu and Kashmir Business Confederation, headed by its President Mohammad Altaf Dar (M Altafdar Rajbagh), along with office bearers and members of the Confederation, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Late Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, R/O Mahnoor, Chadoora, father-in-law of Er. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo Sahib of Badipora, Chadoora.
The condolence message was jointly conveyed by senior JKBC members including Sheikh Hilal Ahmed, S.A. Rashid, Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, Mohammad Ramzan Dar, Nazir Ahmed Dar, Riyaz Ahmed Bhat, Muneer Ahmed Dar, Zameer Ahmed, Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Shafi Wani, Firdaus Ahmed Tinga, Deepak Maniswalia, Popinder Singh, Tariq Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed Darial, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, and several other members of the Confederation.
The JKBC leadership extended its heartfelt sympathies to Er. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo Sahib and his entire family during this difficult time. The Confederation also conveyed its deepest condolences to his wife on the irreparable loss of her beloved father.
Praying for the departed soul, the members of JKBC said, “May Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bestow patience, strength, and courage upon the bereaved family to bear this profound loss.”
