Civil Society & Senior Citizens Kashmir mourn the loss of noble businessman Ghulam Ahmad Khan, prayers for his Maghfirat and strength to the bereaved family : M Altafdar Rajbagh

Civil Society and Senior Citizens of Kashmir, J&K, express deep sorrow over the passing of renowned businessman Ghulam Ahmad Khan, a distinguished member of the respected Khan Dynasty of Naqashpora, Barbarshah, Srinagar. A close relative of student leader and social worker Mohammad Amin Sofi, Khan Sahib left for his heavenly abode on November 27, 2025, after a brief illness.
Ghulam Ahmad Khan was widely known for his generosity, humility, and lifelong commitment to social welfare. His noble character, compassionate nature, and service to the community earned him immense love and respect across all sections of society.
A delegation of senior citizens and civil society members, including M Altafdar Rajbagh, Sheikh Hilal Ahmed, S.A. Rashid, Sheikh Abdul Latif, Mohammad Shafi Wani, and several others, visited the bereaved family to offer heartfelt condolences. They were accompanied by student leader and social worker Mohammad Amin Sofi, a close relative of the deceased.
The delegation paid glowing tributes to the departed soul and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the deceased and Sabr-e-Jameel for the bereaved family.
People from all walks of life continue to visit the residence, reflecting the profound impact Khan Sahib had on the community through his kindness, philanthropy, and exemplary conduct.

Ghulam Ahmad Khan, S/O Late Abdul Gani Khan, R/O Naqashpora, Barbarshah, passed away on 27 November 2025. Fateha Khawani will be held on Sunday, 30 November 2025, at 10:30 AM at his ancestral graveyard.
