Dr. Prabhakar Reddy IAS visited Gorilli Village, T.K. Jammu Panchayat in Manyam District and interacted with tribal communities along with the ARTS team and Field Coordinators (Welfare).
During the interface meeting, the ARTS team submitted representations on key issues including ROFR implementation, pending DKT land matters, construction of a Check Dam for irrigation and water conservation, and “Larva Vata” initiatives for malaria prevention in tribal villages.
The visit strengthened coordination between the district administration and grassroots communities towards sustainable tribal development, livelihood security, health awareness, and natural resource management.

Facilitating soil testing to assess and improve micronutrient levels, the ARTS team actively supported farmers under the JIVA and Sahaja projects. Based on the test results, appropriate soil enrichment practices were promoted by providing inputs such as Ghana Jeevamrutham and PMDS. With the active cooperation and participation of farmers, these efforts aim to enhance soil health, improve nutrient balance, and promote sustainable agricultural productivity.

The ARTS team successfully facilitated a Convergence Meet cm Training Programme on Natural Farming, focusing on Seed Systems, Organic Certification, and Critical Water Management. The programme was conducted for Field Coordinators, CEOs, and Board of Directors (BODs) of Adivasi Mahila FPO, Manyam Sahaja FPO, and Adivasi Mitra FPO. The training aimed to strengthen institutional capacities, promote sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, enhance awareness on organic certification processes, and improve water resource management for long-term agricultural sustainability. This convergence platform also enabled knowledge sharing, inter-organizational coordination, and strategic planning to support farmer livelihoods and ecological conservation in tribal and rural communities.
