Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora, Sopore

All residents of Dangerpora are hereby informed that the Markazi Auqaf Committee fully supports the Government’s initiative of Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan (Drug-Free Jammu & Kashmir), led by the Department of Information & Public Relations.

This initiative is a crucial step toward safeguarding our society, especially our youth, from the harmful effects of drug abuse. The Auqaf Committee stands firmly committed to promoting awareness, prevention, and collective responsibility in eliminating this menace from our community.

We declare our clear and unwavering commitment to making Dangerpora a drug-free village. We urge all parents and guardians to remain vigilant, guide their children properly, and ensure they stay away from any form of substance abuse.

At the same time, a strict warning is issued to individuals involved in drug-related activities and those facilitating or encouraging such behavior. Such actions will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Families are advised to take responsibility and correct their children immediately. Failure to do so will compel the committee to take strong and appropriate action in coordination with the concerned authorities.

Let us work together to protect our society and secure a healthy, safe, and progressive future for our youth.

Government Boys Higher Secondary School Dangerpora was privileged to host the Hon’ble MLA Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, whose inspiring visit greatly motivated students and staff. His commitment to education, youth empowerment, and social development was clearly reflected throughout the program.

The pledge on drug de-addiction under the Nasha Mukht Bharat initiative, along with engaging co-curricular activities like Tug of War, Girls’ Volleyball, and Badminton, made the event both meaningful and impactful. The distribution of Beti Anmol Scheme cheques to outgoing girl students was a significant step toward promoting girls’ education and empowerment.

Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora Sopore also actively participated in this program. Chairman Nissar Ahmad Ganaie, along with other respected members, graced the occasion and showed their support for such important initiatives aimed at guiding and uplifting the youth.

Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora met with the Chief Education Officer Baramulla and the District Youth Services and Supports Officer Baramulla regarding development works for Government Higher Secondary School Dangerpora. Dear/Respected people of our village , the Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora is cleaning the Eidgah today for tomorrow’s Eid prayers. If there is no rain from this evening onwards, the prayers will be held at the Eidgah. However, if rain continues, the venue/time will remain the same, at Dar-ul-Amaan, Markazi Jamia Masjid, Dangerpora. We will keep you updated.

Due to continuous rainfall and unpleasant weather conditions over the past few days, it has been observed after inspection that offering Eid Nimaz at Eidgah Dangerpora is not feasible. Therefore, the Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora, after mutual consensus, has decided to shift the Eid Nimaz venue to Dar-ul-Amaan Jamia Masjid.

All are requested to kindly take note and make necessary arrangements accordingly.

All the Masjid chairmen of our village are requested to submit the Sadaqah-e-Fitr by 15th March 2026 to the Markazi Auqaf Office, while also submitting a list of deserving people from your Mohalla who will receive the Sadaqah-e-Fitr. This will ensure we distribute it before Eid to the deserving poor.

The Markazi Auqaf Committee Dangerpora has been actively working for the past seven months regarding the settlement of land in Dangerpora.

During this period, we held several meetings with the Divisional Commissioner and the Agriculture Minister, who forwarded our matter to the DC Baramulla. The DC Baramulla further directed the Tehsildar Dangerpora to look into the issue.

We continuously followed up with the Tehsil office to obtain the necessary report.
Now, by the grace of Almighty Allah, the Tehsildar Dangerpora has constituted a committee to frame a detailed report on the land settlement of Dangerpora.

This is indeed a significant achievement and a positive step forward in resolving this matter.

We thank everyone for their cooperation and support.
