It was a privilege for Team AIC IIT DELHI to be invited by Vellore Institute of Technology, and what an inspiring experience it was! The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of the innovators and their professors truly stood out, reflecting the strong innovation culture being nurtured at the campus.

During the session, Alok Pandey and Dr. Himanshu Agrawal had the opportunity to explain a critical aspect of the startup journey—the gap between lab-level innovation and market-ready products.

The interaction was aligned with the IDEA-to-IMPACT approach, covering themes such as:
✅ From problem identification to solution development
✅ Translating research into proof of concept (PoC)
✅ The role of incubators, investors, corporates, and government in scaling innovation
✅ Importance of IP, patents, and fund support in hashtag ventures

It was encouraging to see strong interest around advanced areas like AI & Edge Computing for Chip Innovation, AI-powered semiconductor design tools and RISC-V based architectures, along with discussions under the two flagship Programs in partnership with industry leaders.

At AIC IIT DELHI, our vision is clear—to build a strong bridge between academia, research, and entrepreneurship, and to empower young innovators to transform ideas into impactful ventures.

It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity of students from Geeta University, Haryana, during their academic visit to AIC IIT DELHI – Sonipat Campus. The growing interest of innovators from Haryana in the startup ecosystem reflects a powerful shift toward hashtag driven entrepreneurship.

As part of this engagement, students were taken through the entire deep-tech startup journey—from understanding the innovation and incubation ecosystem to exploring how ideas evolve into proof of concept (PoC), validation, and scalable ventures. Our team shared insights into how AIC IIT DELHI supports startups across various phases, enabling them to become market-fit and globally relevant.

A highlight of the visit was the interaction with founders of our incubated startups, who openly shared their journeys—the challenges, failures, learnings, and resilience required to build successful ventures.

The students also visited AIC IIT Delhi’s research and lab facilities, gaining exposure to real-world technologies and understanding how research-led innovation can be translated into commercial solutions. The visit to IHFC (TIH of IIT Delhi), with 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, further strengthened their perspective on emerging technologies and future opportunities.

We strongly believe that early exposure, hands-on learning, and mentorship are key to nurturing meaningful innovation. We hope that in the near future, many of these bright minds will launch their own ventures—solving niche problems, creating market-ready solutions, and contributing to India’s innovation-led growth.

We are delighted to share that AIC IIT DELHI successfully showcased two of India’s flagship innovation and technology initiatives — the Bharat Safety Program and the Bharat Byte Program — during the prestigious India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025 held at Panchkula.

The roadshow witnessed enthusiastic participation from young innovators, researchers, faculty members, startups, and technology enthusiasts, demonstrating India’s growing commitment to road safety innovation, digital empowerment, and deep-tech problem-solving.

These national programs aim to:
✅ Encourage idea-stage innovators and early startups
✅ Promote technology-led solutions in road safety & digital innovation
✅ Provide grants, mentorship, and incubation support
✅ Build a pipeline of future-ready talent aligned with India’s innovation ecosystem

𝗔𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗛𝗗𝗖𝗖𝗜: 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀

At the Panipat event, AIC IIT DELHI actively contributed by conducting a focused outreach session on the 𝗕𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, a national initiative aimed at strengthening road safety through innovation and technology adoption.

During the interaction, AIC IIT Delhi highlighted how 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 are emerging as powerful enablers for next-generation road safety solutions. The team engaged with industry leaders, innovators, and ecosystem partners to explain how advanced materials and textile-based technologies can support:

🔹 Smart calling and alerting systems for accident prevention
🔹 High-visibility and impact-resistant textile products for roadside safety
🔹 Wearable and integrated textile sensors for driver support and emergency response
🔹 Scalable, low-cost safety solutions suitable for nationwide deployment

Through this outreach, AIC IIT Delhi emphasized the role of startups in developing deployable solutions that integrate technical textiles with digital safety frameworks—reinforcing how innovation can directly contribute to reducing road fatalities.

The participation at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Delhi provided a strong platform for AIC IIT DELHI to build collaborations, promote the BHARAT SAFETY mission, and demonstrate the transformative potential of technical textiles in shaping a safer mobility ecosystem for India.
