1 October is observed as National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (NVBDD) in India every year.

🩸 61 Units of Blood Collected at Manav Sewa Trust Blood Donation Camp at LT Foods

Sonipat | October 1, 2026

Manav Sewa Trust (Regd.), Sonipat, organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at LT Foods Limited, Bagadpur Plant, NH-44, GT Road, Sonipat, with the enthusiastic participation of LT Foods employees. The camp resulted in the collection of 61 units of blood, reflecting a strong spirit of compassion, social responsibility and community service.

The camp was organised in the loving memory of Late Shri Raghunath Arora Ji, founder of Daawat Basmati Rice. With the continued support of his sons, Shri Surender Kumar Arora and Shri Ashwani Kumar Arora, Manav Sewa Trust has been undertaking meaningful service initiatives in his memory for the past six years. This blood donation drive was another heartfelt tribute to his legacy of service.

🩺 Medical Team & Safe Blood Donation

The camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Tarun Yadav, Deputy Civil Surgeon, with the medical team ensuring that all necessary health checks and safety protocols were followed throughout the donation process.

The team included Dr. Shailendra Rana (Camp In-charge), Bhuvnesh (Chief Technical Officer), Vikas, Ashok and Renu (Technical Officers), Yogesh (Nursing Officer), Neha (Lab Technician), Manish (Attendant) and Meenu (Counsellor).

❤️ Encouraging Voluntary Blood Donation

Members of Manav Sewa Trust, led by President Shri Sumeet Alakh, interacted with and encouraged the blood donors and expressed their gratitude to the management and employees of LT Foods for their wholehearted participation.

Trust members present included Shri Rakesh Sharma, Shri Mahendra Pal Vashisht, Shri Krishan Pal Sharma, Shri Yashpal Dudeja, Shri Raj Kumar, Shri Pawan Sharma, Shri Ranjan Sehgal, Shri Vijay Mahajan, Shri Bhupesh Chandna, Shri Dinesh Sharma and Shri O.P. Tiwari, along with other members of the Trust.

Shri Rakesh Sharma, Meet Chairman, Manav Sewa Trust, highlighted that voluntary blood donation is one of the most direct forms of humanitarian service, as donated blood can provide vital support to patients requiring transfusions during emergencies, surgeries and critical medical conditions.

Shri Sumeet Alakh, President, Manav Sewa Trust, thanked the entire LT Foods team, the medical team, donors and everyone who contributed to the success of the camp. He appreciated the 61 employees who came forward voluntarily to donate blood, calling their participation a reflection of sensitivity, social commitment and community spirit.

He also expressed special gratitude to Shri Surender Kumar Arora and Shri Ashwani Kumar Arora for continuing the tradition of meaningful service in the memory of their father for the past six years.

🩸 A Meaningful Tribute Through Service

The initiative also included awareness and registration support for ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account), encouraging participants to understand the benefits of a digital health identity and consent-based access to health records.

The successful collection of 61 units of blood was a collective achievement of the donors, LT Foods management and employees, medical team and Manav Sewa Trust.

More importantly, the camp transformed remembrance into action—honouring the memory of Late Shri Raghunath Arora Ji through an act of service that has the potential to bring hope and support to those in need.

📚 Education Support Drive – A Step Towards a Brighter Future

Manav Sewa Trust (Regd.), Sonepat, in association with GVM School, Sonepat, successfully organised the Education Support Drive for Needy Children on Saturday, 1st August 2026, at GVM Sr. Secondary School, Geeta Bhawan, Sonepat.

The initiative was undertaken with the noble objective of ensuring that financial constraints do not become a barrier to quality education for deserving children. Through this programme, Manav Sewa Trust and GVM School reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting children and empowering them to build a brighter and more secure future.

The programme brought together members of the Trust and the school management, who expressed their commitment to continuing meaningful initiatives in the field of education and community service. The collaboration also highlighted the importance of schools, social organisations and the community working together to create opportunities for children in need.

Manav Sewa Trust (Regd.), Sonipat, in association with Little Angels School, Sonipat, successfully organised a Free Multi-Speciality Health Check-up Camp at the school premises on the occasion of the birthday of Mr. Tarsem Kumar Garg, Chairman, Little Angels School.

❤️ Over 200 people benefited from the camp, receiving free health screenings, specialist consultations, medical advice and medicines wherever required.

🇮🇳 Celebrating the 80th Independence Day in Sonipat with the Spirit of Patriotism, Service & Sustainability

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with immense pride, patriotism and a strong spirit of social responsibility at The Heritage by Mansha, Sector 83–84, Sonipat, through a joint initiative of Mansha Group, Manav Sewa Trust, Sonipat; Rotary Club of Sonipat Ardent; and Rotary Club of Faridabad Sapphire.

The celebrations beautifully brought together the values of nation-building, community service, environmental protection, respect for our armed forces and youth empowerment.

🇮🇳 30-Metre National Flag Hoisting
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of a magnificent 30-metre-high National Flag, followed by a collective pledge to uphold the unity, integrity and progress of our nation.

🎖️ Honouring Our Veterans
A special tribute was paid to retired members of the Armed Forces for their invaluable service and contribution to the security and nation of India.

🏟️ Inauguration of Mansha Sports Complex
The Mansha Sports Complex was inaugurated as an initiative to encourage young people to participate in sports and embrace a healthy and active lifestyle. The facility aims to nurture discipline, leadership, teamwork and positive thinking among the youth.

🌱 Tree Plantation for a Greener Future
A tree plantation drive was jointly organised by Manav Sewa Trust, Rotary Club of Sonipat Ardent and Rotary Club of Faridabad Sapphire, reinforcing the message that protecting our environment today is an investment in the well-being of future generations.

Message of Service & Nation-Building

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sumeet Alakh, President, Manav Sewa Trust, emphasised that Independence Day is not merely a celebration of freedom, but also an opportunity to reflect on our responsibilities towards the nation and future generations.

He highlighted the importance of transforming patriotism into meaningful action through community service, environmental conservation, respect for our armed forces and empowerment of youth.

The Hon'ble Mayor Shri Rajiv Jain appreciated the collective efforts of Manav Sewa Trust, Mansha Group and the Rotary organisations, particularly the initiatives of honouring veterans, promoting environmental responsibility and providing sports facilities for the city's youth.

Dr. Yashpal Yadav, IAS, emphasised that nation-building is a collective responsibility and that citizens must understand their duties alongside their rights. He appreciated the integration of service, sustainability, sports and community participation into the Independence Day celebrations.

Strong Community Participation

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of Manav Sewa Trust, Mansha Group, both Rotary Clubs and citizens from Sonipat which included Dr Naresh Malik ( Mansha - Group Chairman), Vishal Jain, Himanshu Malik, Ashish Kumar Jain, Tushar Sharma, Arun Dhamija, Bhupesh Chandna, Pawan Sharma, Mohinder Khurana, Anil Thakkar, Neeraj Arora, R.P.
