🌈 Pride Month Celebration Through Action! 🌈

On 7th June 2026 Jamshedpur Q***r Circle (JQC) organized an Entitlement Camp at the JQC Office, New Baradwari, Sakchi, Jamshedpur.

✨ 40 community members participated
✅ Labour Cards facilitated
✅ ABHA Cards created
✅ Access to government entitlements strengthened

This Pride Month, we celebrate not just visibility, but also dignity, inclusion, and equal access to rights and opportunities for all.

Together, we continue building a stronger, more empowered, and inclusive community. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

This Environment Day, we’re not posting about trees.
We’re posting about the woman whose harvest failed because the monsoon arrived three weeks late. The girl who missed school during floods. The transgender individual who has no safety net, no land, no formal employment, when a climate shock arrives.
In Jharkhand, the climate crisis and the gender crisis are not two separate conversations. They arrive together, in the same communities, to the same people.

Since 2019, Jamshedpur Q***r Circle has been continuously celebrating Pride Month in Jamshedpur to raise the voices of identity, rights, equality, dignity, and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ community.

In 2019, the organisation organised the first Pride Walk in the city, creating a public platform for the LGBTQIA+ community to be visible, heard, and celebrated.

Since then, every year the organisation has organised Pride Walks, cultural programs, awareness campaigns, community dialogues, and community-led activities to promote diversity, inclusion, acceptance, and human rights across Jharkhand.

“Jamshedpur Pride Jalsa 2026” is part of this continued effort to spread the message of love, equality, dignity, and acceptance in society.

For many q***r people here, Pride is more than celebration.
It is the first time they feel seen.
The first time they feel accepted.
The first time they realise they are not alone.

Every contribution — big or small — helps us continue building a community rooted in dignity, inclusion, hope, and love. ❤️

Jamshedpur Q***r Circle (JQC) hosted a powerful Mental Health Session on 11 January 2026 at Narwa, Jamshedpur, bringing together 20+ community members in a safe, non-judgmental space. From talking about stress, stigma, identity, and emotional well-being to learning about self-care and support systems, the session was all about healing, sharing, and growing together. 💖
The day ended with a joyful community picnic—full of laughter, bonding, and chosen-family vibes. Moments like these remind us that q***r joy + mental health = unstoppable energy. ✨

Jamshedpur Q***r Circle (JQC) was invited by the ART Center today at MGM Hospital for an HIV awareness programme through a Nukkad Natak (street play).
The doctors and hospital team performed the play to spread important messages about HIV prevention, testing, and treatment.
This joint effort aimed to increase awareness, encourage regular testing, and help the community understand the importance of early treatment and support.
🌈 JQC – Our Work Highlights
Supporting HIV testing, counselling, and linkage with the ART Center
Creating awareness in the community through workshops, street plays, and outreach
Assisting individuals with Transgender ID Cards, entitlements, and welfare services
Building safe and supportive spaces for q***r communities in Jamshedpur
Working towards health access for all, without stigma
JQC is committed to partnering with health institutions and spreading correct information for a healthier community.

Today, November 20th, is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. We pause to honor the transgender and gender-diverse individuals whose lives were tragically cut short due to anti-trans violence and bigotry. Every life lost is a reminder of the urgent need for dignity, respect, and safety for all. We stand in solidarity with the trans community, today and every day.

Government hospitals across the state are now opening dedicated Transgender Clinics! 🌈🏥
Affirmation, dignity, and healthcare — finally on the map.

Jharkhand just took a historic step toward inclusive and accessible healthcare! 🏳️‍⚧️💫
With transgender clinics now being set up in all government hospitals, the state is ensuring that trans and gender-diverse people can access respectful, safe, and specialized medical care — without stigma or barriers.

This move means:
🏥 Gender-affirmative healthcare
🤝 Supportive and informed medical staff
🧭 Easier access to identity and documentation updates
🌈 A healthcare space where everyone is treated with dignity

As these clinics begin to open their doors, we hope this marks the beginning of a more inclusive healthcare system — one where every person feels seen, affirmed, and valued.
