Shrirampur Samvad Foundation

This dialogue takes place with people and also with our inner soul.

Shrirampur Samvad Foundation is a registered organization, it has been working for education, employment, health, cleanliness and nature conservation in and around Shrirampur village of Sitamarhi district of Bihar. According to our naturalistic ideology, communication is such a medium, if we use it properly, we can establish a balance between personal life and society. Nature is the root of our li

fe. Only by taking inspiration from this, man has been able to achieve the process of progressive development. That is why we experience with all our senses in the school of nature and try to achieve balanced and sustainable development in society and in our own lives. Presently we are working with about sixty children. Children come to a beautiful eco-friendly campus and regularly participate in different workshops. From time to time we invite interested fellows from all over the world to organize workshops. In the last two years, our team has organized Lok Chetna Yatra twice for eco-tourism and rural employment generation, which along with hundreds of Indians and foreign nationals, former Bihar Education Minister Dr Ramchandra Purve and well-known poet Geet Chaturvedi have also participated. we have been initiated also the Children Bank, Sakhi Saheli and Baal-Manch Programme. Anyone can put money in the Children's Bank, but only children can withdraw money according to the rules set accordingly. This bank is completely a children's bank, so they will be excited about this bank. They will be able to know how much money they have been able to add and where to use it. The bank Manager and all members also belong to them. Especially the children who spend every single rupee here and there, they can access this bank and can use their money more meaningfully. It has been seen that most of the children spend money on chocolates and chips and after eating they throw the Plastic here and there, which affects the environment the most. Sakhi Saheli is the programme for girls where we are trying to make a comfortable space for young girls, where they can talk about their different rights and have a healthy dialogue on health, education, Periods and marriage. through this initiative we also trying to make girls economically sustainable. Baal-Manch is the platform where kids perform any kind of art before villagers. Baal-Manch is organising every Sunday at 4 pm in open ground where villagers have been invited. Every Sunday 15 kids perform any of the performances among Poetry recitation, Storytelling, Singing, Dance, News anchoring and many more. Different Initiatives of Shrirampur Samvad

We are sharing a glimpse from a special session led by Shri Alok Chandra Prakash ji, founding member of Gram Chetna Andolan.

During the Girls’ Residency, he engaged with the participants on the subject of higher education and exposure for rural youth, thoughtfully breaking it down step by step.

His session opened up new perspectives and helped participants reflect on their own educational journeys and possibilities ahead.

Every place carries its own memory,
holding within it the presence, energy, and experiences of all those who pass through it over time.

The Shrirampur Samvad Eco-Friendly campus, too, is shaped by the mentors who come here, travelling from far away to share their time, sensitivity, and creative spirit with the participants.

We are deeply grateful to Annu Priya ji,
whose warmth and grounded presence added a quiet depth to this space.

Here is a glimpse of her experience!

Thankyou for joining us.

Closing Note — Sakhi Saheli Girls’ Residency 2026

Some journeys do not end, they quietly settle into memory.

As the first edition of the Sakhi Saheli Girls’ Residency came to a close, we gathered in a small, intimate circle
with our mentors, volunteers, senior members, and those who have, for years, held space for this journey to exist.

Certificates were shared not just as acknowledgements,
but as markers of a time lived together.

What stayed with us most were the voices of the participants.

They spoke of this space as something rare,
a space where they did not feel watched, judged or instructed…
but simply allowed to be.

A space where ease replaced hesitation,
and presence replaced pressure.

In their words, it was not just a programme,
it was a feeling of safety.

There was also a quiet tenderness in the air,
a reluctance to leave,
as if the days had unfolded too quickly.

Perhaps because something real had formed here,
in shared meals, in walks to the forest, in conversations, in silences.

We are deeply grateful to our mentors, our volunteers, our supporters, and to everyone who, in seen and unseen ways, made this possible.

And to nature for holding us gently through these days,
with calm skies, soft winds, and quiet companionship.

This was the first batch.
A beginning.

And like all beginnings,
it carries within it the promise of many more journeys to come.

We will meet again.

Thank you!

Session 10

This was the AI session led by Arpit Chhikara ( ) at the Sakhi Saheli Girls’ Residency.

The session focused on the use of AI and becoming technically aware, helping participants understand how to give prompts according to their needs.

Through simple and practical guidance, participants explored how to ask the right questions, access information, and use AI apps in a meaningful way.

This session marked the end of Arpit’s mentoring journey in the programme, leaving participants with new tools and perspectives for the future.

Session 08 | Session 09

At our organization, when mentors come to our eco-friendly campus, the idea is not just to teach but to build a relationship of trust, comfort and friendship with the participants.

Every part of the programme from stay to food to the way sessions are designed is shaped in a way that allows this connection to grow naturally.

This glimpse is from one such moment,
as participants walk together towards their workshop space in the forest singing, laughing, sharing and simply being.

Here, a mentor is not just a mentor.
They become a companion in the journey.

It is beautiful to see how Annu Priya Ji blends so effortlessly with the participants creating a space where sharing feels light, open and human.
