"*Women's Convention Celebrates Entrepreneurial Success*

Today, we hosted a landmark Women's Convention at Khalaghatagi Block, Dharwad District, where over 300 women entrepreneurs participated, and a few shared their inspiring stories of success in income-generating activities through self-help groups. Supported by EdelGive Foundation, the event aimed to empower and motivate around 500 recently enrolled SHG members by showcasing replicable products and experiences. This inaugural event marked a significant milestone, bringing together women from Haliyal, Mundgod, and Khalaghatagi. Renowned entrepreneurs, farmers, and activists in women's rights and sustainable agriculture shared valuable insights, enriching the experience."

*MANUVIKASA Wins Prestigious India CSR and Sustainability Award 2025*

MANUVIKASA has been honored with the prestigious India CSR and Sustainability Award 2025 for its outstanding work in water management. The award was presented by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry on September 4, 2025, at Sir M.V. Auditorium in Bangalore. The award was handed over to MANUVIKASA by Dr. G. Parameswar, Hon'ble Home Minister of Karnataka.

Mr. Ganapati Bhat, Managing Trustee, and Mr. Gurudas Prabhu, Head Operations, MANUVIKASA, received the award in the presence of office bearers of FKCCI. This recognition highlights MANUVIKASA's commitment to sustainable development and its efforts in promoting water conservation through initiatives such as lake rejuvenation, rainwater harvesting, and farm pond construction.

MANUVIKASA's water management efforts include:
- _Lake Rejuvenation_: MANUVIKASA has successfully rejuvenated 316 lakes, benefiting 12,222 farmers and irrigating 33,758 acres of land.
- _Farm Pond Construction_: The organization has developed over 3,813 farm ponds, harvesting 2104 million liters of water every year.
- _Rainwater Harvesting_: MANUVIKASA has constructed 17,767 rainwater harvesting pits, enhancing groundwater levels and reducing dependence on deeper groundwater sources.
