Just a small fraction of the dogs that WAG feeds every single day. ❤️🐾

Each one of these dogs was rescued from terrible conditions on the streets of Goa — hungry, injured, abandoned, sick or simply left to fend for themselves.

Today, they have a safe place, regular meals, medical care and a chance at a better life.

But caring for so many rescued dogs, day after day, is only possible because of your support.

Every meal, every treatment, every rescue depends on people who choose to help.

Please donate. Even a small contribution can help feed a hungry dog today. 🐾❤️

THROWBACK 🐾

More than two years ago, a pregnant dog fell into a deep septic tank — and gave birth to nine puppies inside.

It was a desperate situation. The WAG team bravely climbed down into the tank and rescued mum and all nine pups. ❤️

And the story didn’t end with the rescue.

Over time, all nine puppies found loving homes. Mum was sterilised. And the dangerous septic tank was finally covered, making sure no other animal would face the same fate.

Ten lives rescued. Ten lives given a second chance. ❤️

This is what rescue is really about — saving them, and making their world safer too.

Oshi was found in Oxel, Siolim, suffering from a severe ear infection that had progressed so badly that his entire ear had to be surgically ablated.

Today, he is recovering beautifully under the loving care and able administration of Reshma and the incredible WAG team. ❤️

But Oshi is just one of the many, many animals WAG rescues, treats and cares for every single day. Behind every rescue is a story of pain, neglect or suffering — and a team that refuses to give up on them.

None of this would be possible without the ongoing generosity and support of all of you. Your donations help provide emergency treatment, surgeries, medicines, food and a second chance to animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Please continue to support WAG. Together, we can keep saving lives. 🐾❤️

7 DAYS WITHOUT FOOD AND WATER, AND GASPING FOR AIR. 💔

Plastic Can Be Deadly—But This Rescue Has a Happy Ending 🐾❤️

It’s been more than two years since we rescued this poor soul from a terrible fate. 💔

Thankfully, he is now safe, healthy, and living a happy life. 🐶✨

But sadly, his story didn’t end with him.

Since then, we’ve rescued more than 100 animals who suffered because of one completely preventable problem — careless plastic disposal. Animals eat it, get trapped in it, become injured, and sometimes pay for our carelessness with their lives. 😔

Plastic doesn’t disappear just because we throw it away.

Please, before you discard that plastic, remember the animals who have no choice but to encounter it.

Dispose of your plastic responsibly.
Their lives depend on it. 🐾❤️

She was left suffering on the roadside after an accident.

By the time we were informed, her neck and ear were badly infested with maggots. She was weak, in pain, and fighting for her life.
Our rescue team carefully brought her to the WAG Animal Sanctuary, where she received immediate veterinary care. Every day, our team cleaned her wounds, treated the infection, and gave her the love and care she deserved.
Today, just one month later, she has made a 100% recovery! ❤️🐾
She can walk again, enjoys her food, and has completely transformed from the frightened, suffering calf we first rescued. Her eyes are now filled with life and hope.
This is why we do what we do. Every rescue reminds us that no life is beyond saving when compassion arrives in time.
Thank you to everyone who supports WAG. Your kindness makes rescues like this possible. ❤️

THEY HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO. WE ARE ALL THEY HAVE. ❤️

At Welfare for Animals in Goa(WAG), 250+ rescued animals depend on us every single day.

They need food.
They need medicines and treatment.
They need shelter.
And most importantly, they need someone who will not give up on them.

We rescue animals who were abandoned, injured, sick and forgotten. But caring for so many lives comes with a huge daily cost - and right now, we desperately need your help.

🙏 Please donate whatever you can. Even ₹100, ₹500 or ₹1,000 can help provide a meal and keep our rescue work going.

❤️ Your donation could mean one more full belly.
One more treatment.
One more day of safety.
One more life saved.
