The Photographic Society of Sikkim was established in 2015 by handful of very enthusiastic minds in the field of photography who were not only from Gangtok city but from different corner of Sikkim even from rural area. PSS, unlike any other Photographic Society in Sikkim and perhaps even elsewhere in the India, continues to hold interesting, instructive and entertaining weekly programmes every Sunday. At PSS, every member wholeheartedly welcomes and guides the new members. Senior and experienced members helps and encourages the new members by taking interest in their work. PSS holds, conducts and takes part in organizing workshop for general public, students, exhibitions and also its members Exhibition. The Photographic Society of Sikkim has been serving the good cause of photography since its inception in 2015 and thus becoming one of the youngest Photographic Society in our State.
