🌍 Tourism, Safety, Community & Culture—All in One Celebration!

This World Tourism Day, EHTTOA celebrated at Tumling, chosen as a unique destination in the Singalila National Park region, in line with the Hon’ble Tourism Minister’s vision of “One District, One Destination.”

A major highlight was a CPR & Primary Emergency Response Demonstration conducted in collaboration with St. John Ambulance, featuring both human and dummy demonstrations to help homestay owners understand the importance of immediate primary treatment, especially in high-altitude destinations.

The programme was supported by Tourism Department, Government of West Bengal, Gorkhaland Territorial Administration and St. John Ambulance, with Nepal Tourism Board as our international partner.

From meaningful training and community participation to felicitation, cultural performances and shared moments, the celebration brought together everything that makes tourism truly meaningful — destinations, people, preparedness and culture. ❤️

Happy World Tourism Day! 🌍✨

🤝 Strengthening Tourism Through Better Industry Compliance

EHTTOA delegation led by President Mr. Debashish Maitra, along with Mr. Gourav Gupta, Mr. Arpan Chettri & Mr. Anil Kumar, met with officials at BDO Rajganj, Jalpaiguri to discuss the implementation of NIDHI (National Integrated Database Hospitality Industry) Registration.
