We conducted a Press meet Siliguri Journalists' Club back on 19th March 2026 on the below mentioned issues and some other followed by letters submitted at the good office of Siliguri Police Commissionerate , Gautam Deb (Mayor - Siliguri ) ,
& got it duly received from their esteemed offices...

PS: None of these issues should stuck for MCC for Election anywhere if intended...
If we don't see any action to eradicate these activities then after certain gap but not more than 60 days we would again raise the same for the 2nd time...

Issues:
1) Misusage of underground water by who's who and others to wash lawns,cars,roads at will everyday.It wastes gallons of water.Also car washing centres needto be monitored.
It's increasing the water level and hampering adjacent houses.
2) Increase of dry addiction,tablets, dendrites, alcohols , g***a at every corner of paras till crematorium ground is totally out of sight of administration and police.
Totos are helping that cause too.Our children are not safe.
Toto Bars are new introduction.
3)Illegal parking of Totos and accidents.
4)No Toto zone boards on HC Road,Sevoke Road,Bidhan Road but Toto plying. Either move the boards by SMS or Stop Toto.
5)Parking of Dead body vans beside Boys school which is absolutely dangerous as far psychological impact is concerned for the student who see those vehicles from classroom windows.
6)Toto without TTEN plying on Sevoke Road,Chittaranjan Flyover photos enclosed.
7) 31st January 2026 was the last date issued by Kolkata High court to stop all Totos plying without TTEN. It's not done by Administration.
8)All social platforms creates by SMC , Police must reply to any issues reported by general public to encourage report against illegalities ...
Which was not done in my case...

We, sincerely wish to get all citizens of Siliguri beside us for better tomorrow...
