প্রবাদ প্রতীম ডা: ছেত্রী। উত্তরবঙ্গ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ১৯৯৩ সালে তাঁকে D. Sc. ডিগ্রি Honoris Causa উপাধি অর্পন করে সন্মানিত করেছিলেন। ডাক্তারবাবু ক্যাম্পাসে আসতে পারেন নি। আমি ও উপাচার্য কৃষ্ণনাথ চট্টোপাধ্যায় তাঁর পিজি হাসপাতাল বাসভবনে গিয়ে সম্বর্ধনা দিয়েছিলাম।
