Brajaditya Seva Sanstha held its first free eye camp of the year at Bhandu Tea Garden Hospital.
Conducted under the supervision of Silchar Lions Eye Hospital, patients were examined by Dr. Satyashree Debroy, Ophthalmologist Aparajita Bora, and Nurse Ruma Begum. A total of 27 patients underwent free eye check-ups and were provided with necessary medicines.
Among them, cataracts were detected in 15 patients. While 6 patients did not proceed with the surgery due to various reasons, the remaining patients were sent to Lions Eye Hospital for the operation.
