ABVP demanded strict action against the accused and called for stronger measures to ensure the safety and dignity of students. The protest saw active participation from students and local residents, reflecting widespread outrage and the need for accountability. ABVP reaffirmed its commitment to protecting student rights and creating a safe, respectful environment on campuses across the region.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) strongly condemns the recent skirmish at Cachar College, Silchar. ABVP categorically denies allegations made by the Cachar District Congress President and workers of the NSUI and Congress Party, who are falsely accusing ABVP of involvement in the altercation. Investigations reveal that the clash occurred between two factions within the Congress Party itself, specifically between the Gaurav Gogoi faction and the Bhupen Bora faction. ABVP asserts its non-involvement in this internal conflict and demands that the Congress Party refrain from misguiding the public and instead address its own internal issues. College campuses are for students, not workers of fraduelent parties like Congress. Before alleging against ABVP, Congress should clarify:

1. Why are they making a college campus the centre for their political activism?
2. What are the non-student workers of the Congress Party doing in a college campus?
