Centre for Environment and Development - CENAD It is registered under the Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860. which are directly or indirectly related to the environment.

CENAD is a non governmental organization established on 5th June 2010 as an NGO for social service and research in the area of environment and sustainable development. The main/broad objectives of the organization are as following: -

To conduct basic and applied research on the contemporary issues related to the environment and development for environmental conservation and human welfare with

the help of scientific and ecological knowledge. To carryout programs to address the issues pertaining to protection, conservation and restoration of natural environment. To create awareness against environmental degradation and promote eco-friendly and sustainable development. To undertake necessary and appropriate steps at local level to address the issues related to climate change. To involve the mass peoples with active participation in the endeavor to create more equal, responsible, self reliant, environment conscious and socio economically stable society. To deal with social issues pertaining to education, poverty, unemployment, health, sanitation and agriculture etc. To work in collaboration with other government and non governmental agencies to address the issues related to environment and development. To work for the betterment of Science particularly Ecology and Environmental science. To provide environmental education, consultancy and other related services. To provide extension services particularly in agriculture sector and other related areas.
