To Alumni of NIT Silchar with Bihar Domicile-
Further to the information shared earlier on the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme (CMFS), kindly note that the deadline for the submission of applications is January 31, 2026.
This scheme is launched in collaboration between IIM Bodh Gaya and the Government of Bihar to attract meritorious young professionals with Bihar domicile who aspire to contribute to governance, public policy, and developmental transformation of the state.
We would be grateful if you could kindly recirculate this information among your alumni and placement networks, as well as other relevant departments, so that eligible candidates may apply within the stipulated timeline.

P.S.: Who can join the CMFS?
· Domicile of Bihar
· Master’s degree in Management / Policy / Development / Public Administration / Regional Planning / Science and Technology & allied fields with 55% or above score
· Should have test scores of any of CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET
· Age 45 years or less
· Minimum three years of related work experience (for different offices, the requirements for work experience are different)
· Reservation norms of the Government of Bihar will apply
