১ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা জেলার শ্যামনগরে অনুষ্ঠিত শ্যামনগর বইমেলার প্রাঙ্গণে দ্য হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি শ্যামনগর একটি জনসচেতনতা কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে। এই কর্মসূচির মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল হিমোফিলিয়া সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা এবং সময়মতো রোগ নির্ণয়, চিকিৎসা ও সামাজিক সহায়তার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরা।

আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও সভাপতি শ্রী সুমন্ত রায়-এর নেতৃত্বে সংগঠনের নিবেদিতপ্রাণ সদস্য ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবকরা মেলায় আগত দর্শনার্থীদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করেন, তথ্যভিত্তিক শিক্ষামূলক সামগ্রী বিতরণ করেন এবং পরিবারগুলিকে রক্তক্ষরণজনিত রোগ নিয়ে খোলামেলা আলোচনা করতে উৎসাহিত করেন।

শ্যামনগর বইমেলার আয়োজকদের এই সুযোগ করে দেওয়ার জন্য আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা, এবং সকলকে ধন্যবাদ যারা আমাদের কথা শুনেছেন, অংশ নিয়েছেন ও বার্তাটি ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার অঙ্গীকার করেছেন।

On 1 January 2026, The Haemophilia Society Shyamnagar organised a public sensitisation programme at the Shyamnagar Book Fair in Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The session focused on raising awareness about haemophilia and the importance of timely diagnosis, treatment, and community support. Led by our founder and President, Mr. Sumanta Roy, along with dedicated members and volunteers, we interacted with visitors, shared educational materials, and encouraged families to speak openly about bleeding disorders. This initiative is a step towards building an informed and compassionate society where no person with haemophilia is left behind.Grateful to the organisers of Shyamnagar Book Fair for the platform, and to everyone who stopped by, listened, and pledged to spread the message. Together, we can turn awareness into action and ensure better care and dignity for people with haemophilia.

#হেমলিব্রা নামক ওষুধটিকে হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীদের চিকিৎসার জন্য জাতীয় অত্যাবশ্যক ওষুধের তালিকা (National Essential Drug List)-এ অন্তর্ভুক্ত করার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়টি আজ রাজ্যসভায় Dr. Anil Bonde উত্থাপন করেছেন।

সরকারকে অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে যে অবিলম্বে হেমলিব্রা ওষুধটিকে জাতীয় স্বাস্থ্য মিশন -এর অত্যাবশ্যক ওষুধের তালিকায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হোক এবং সকল হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীর জন্য সমান, জীবনরক্ষাকারী চিকিৎসা নিশ্চিত করতে জাতীয় হিমোফিলিয়া চিকিৎসা নির্দেশিকা (National Hemophilia Treatment Guidelines) প্রণয়ন করা হোক।

The Haemophilia Society Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas observed World Physiotherapy Day 2025 with a meaningful initiative for the hemophilia community. On this special day, we distributed Free Anti-Hemophilia Factor-VIII to the 52 Person with Hemophilia for home therapy support.

This step reflects our commitment to improving quality of life, ensuring better joint health, and promoting independence for every person living with hemophilia.

We thank all our members, well-wishers, and supporters who stand with us in this journey towards better care and empowerment. Together, we can create a stronger and healthier future!



অতি সম্মানের সঙ্গে জানানো যাচ্ছে, দ্য হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি শ্যামনগর, উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা'র, বিশ্ব ফিজিওথেরাপি দিবস ২০২৫-এ হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীদের জন্য এক তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করেছে। এই বিশেষ দিনে আমরা ৫২ জন হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীকে বাড়িতে চিকিৎসার জন্য সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে অ্যান্টি-হিমোফিলিয়া ফ্যাক্টর-VIII বিতরণ করেছি।

এই পদক্ষেপ আমাদের সমাজের প্রতি আন্তরিক অঙ্গীকারের প্রতিফলন, প্রতিটি হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীর জীবনমান উন্নত করা, জয়েন্টের স্বাস্থ্য রক্ষা করা এবং আত্মনির্ভরশীলতা গড়ে তুলতে সহায়তা করা।

World Physiotherapy Day-2025

Physiotherapy plays a vital role in keeping joints and muscles strong and healthy for people with hemophilia (PWHs).

On this special occasion, The Haemophilia Society Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas organized a Physiotherapy Camp under the expert guidance of Consultant Physiotherapist Dr. Juliet Ekka

To further support our members, physiotherapy kits were also distributed among PWHs, empowering them to continue exercises at home for better health and mobility.

We sincerely thank for their generous support in making this initiative successful.

Together, let’s move towards stronger steps, healthier joints, and brighter lives!

Yesterday, Mr. Sumanta Roy (Founder and President) The Haemophilia Society Shyamnagar had the privilege of attending the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) with Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem) at the Science Exhibition, Central Park, Salt Lake, West Bengal.

During this event, he engaged in a meaningful discussion with the government officials of the Gene Therapy Project, Ministry of Science and Technology, regarding the progress being made in developing Gene Therapy for Hemophilia in India.

As representatives of the Hemophilia community, it fills us with immense hope to see such dedicated efforts towards innovative treatments that have the potential to transform lives. We look forward to the day when Gene Therapy becomes a reality for every person with Hemophilia in India.

Together, we believe that science, innovation, and compassion can create a future free from the challenges of Hemophilia.

গতকাল, হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি শ্যামনগরের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা এবং সভাপতি শ্রী সুমন্ত রায় উপস্থিত ছিল বায়োটেকনোলজি রিসার্চ অ্যান্ড ইনোভেশন কাউন্সিল (BRIC) এবং ইনস্টিটিউট ফর স্টেম সেল সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড রিজেনারেটিভ মেডিসিন (inStem)-এর প্রদর্শনীতে, স্থান – সায়েন্স এক্সিবিশন, সেন্ট্রাল পার্ক, সল্টলেক, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ।

এই প্রদর্শনীতে তিনি বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি মন্ত্রকের জিন থেরাপি প্রকল্পের সরকারি কর্মকর্তাদের সঙ্গে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনায় অংশ নেন, যেখানে ভারতে হিমোফিলিয়ার জন্য জিন থেরাপির উন্নয়ন নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়।

হিমোফিলিয়া সমাজের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে এ ধরনের উদ্ভাবনী চিকিৎসার প্রচেষ্টা আমাদের মনে অসীম আশা জাগায়। আমরা সেই দিনের অপেক্ষায় আছি, যেদিন জিন থেরাপি বাস্তবে রূপ নেবে এবং ভারতের প্রতিটি হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীর জীবন বদলে দেবে।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, বিজ্ঞান, উদ্ভাবন এবং সহমর্মিতা একসাথে মিলেই আমাদের জন্য এক নতুন ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ে তুলবে।

হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি শ্যামনগর, উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা, এবং ইনটাস ফাউন্ডেশন-এর সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় আয়োজিত হলো একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হিমোফিলিয়া কেয়ার ক্যাম্প। 🩸

🔹 ৫০ জন হিমোফিলিয়া আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তি বিনামূল্যে পেয়েছেন অ্যান্টি হিমোফিলিক ফ্যাক্টর-VIII, যা তাঁদের জীবনের জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
🔹 পাশাপাশি, পশ্চিমবঙ্গে হিমোফিলিয়া চিকিৎসার বর্তমান অবস্থা ও ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে হয় ফলপ্রসূ আলোচনা।
