On 2nd May 2026, the Pathways Training and Placement Cell conducted a Learn to Learn session on the topic *Mobile Network Evolution* facilitated by Mr. Kirankumar N B.

The facilitator began with an introduction to the evolution of communication networks, explaining the development from 1G to 6G and highlighting the key improvements in each generation. Later, he discussed the impact and applications of 5G technology focusing on its role in faster communication, improved connectivity and its use in various fields such as healthcare, education and smart technologies.

All the volunteers were nimble throughout the learn to learn session.

On 30th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized an activity on the topic of Cropra facilitated by secon year volunteers, Ms. Jyothi B M and Ms. Kavana H.

The facilitators began by explaining the technique of the activity focusing on how to maintain coordination within a team and effectively share information with others. They emphasized the importance of teamwork and clear communication.
Later, another activity called Dramora was conducted, where volunteers used drama as a medium to convey messages, this activity highlighted how we can express our thoughts creatively and spread awareness on important topics.

All the volunteers actively participated throughout the activities.

On 28th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell conducted a Science and Technology Club on the topic *Television and Earthquake* facilitated by Ms. Anusha P M and Mr. Manoj R.

The facilitators began the club by introducing television and explaining its development and how it was launched to the world. They discussed different types of televisions and highlighted their advantages and disadvantages.
Later, they elaborated on earthquakes including their causes and reasons. They also discussed some of the recent earthquakes that have occurred around the world.

All the volunteers were zealous throughout the club.

*“An unknown source highlights that measuring human ability came long after measuring the physical world.”*

On 27th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a session on the topic *ASUFA Psychometric* facilitated by Maj. C S Anand, Motivator and Life Coach.

The resource person explained how both internal and external factors influence success and failure. He emphasized that external challenges can be turned into strengths with the right mindset. He also highlighted the importance of self dependence in decision making and encouraged students to focus on knowledge, dedication, skills and consistency to achieve their goals. The session began with a thoughtfully designed written assessment aimed at understanding the volunteers feelings and emotional responses. This activity helped them reflect on their inner mindset, identify their personal values and understand the difference between right and wrong in their lives.

The session thrived under the guidance of Dr. Giridhar K V, Director, Pathways Training and Placement Cell.

On 21st April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a Science and Technology club on the topic Permaculture facilitated by Ms. Priyanka G and Ms. Manasa N.

The facilitators provided a brief definition of permaculture, its history and its core ethics like Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share, key principles of permaculture. In the second part, they discussed zonation from zone 1 to zone 5, various techniques and the future scope of permaculture. Atlast, they showcased a video related to permaculture for better understanding.

On 18th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a Directorial Tribute Ceremony to honour Prof. Mohana Chandragutti for his valuable contribution and dedicated service as the Director of Pathways.

The volunteers shared their heartfelt experiences, expressing gratitude for his constant support, guidance, and encouragement.

Prof. Mohana Chandragutti was honored with great pride for his excellent service and continuous support to the volunteers. His clear vision and strong commitment have always focused on helping students grow into better individuals and responsible members of society.

Further, Prof. Mohana Chandragutti guided everyone on how to make better decisions in life as human beings. He emphasized the importance of taking the right decisions at the right time. He also shared valuable insights on building a successful career, understanding the purpose of life and striving to achieve something meaningful. He encouraged everyone to realize that struggle and hard work are essential parts of the journey toward success. They highlighted the importance of having clear goals and a strong vision in life, emphasizing that dedication and hard work are the keys to success.

Later, Dr. Giridhar K V, Director, Pathways Training and Placement Cell, addressed the gathering. He appreciated the efforts of volunteers and acknowledged the contributions of Prof. Mohana Chandragutti. He encouraged students to utilize opportunities, stay focused and work hard to achieve success.

Overall the programme was successfully thrived under the guidance of Dr. Giridhar K V, Director, Pathways Training and Placement Cell.

On 17th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a club on the topic Consumer and Consumer Behaviour facilitated by Ms. Thrisha and Mr. Manoj R.

The facilitators explained the meaning of consumers, decision making process, need recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, purchase decision and post purchase behavior. They also discussed the importance of consumer behavior, consumer rights and consumer responsibilities. Further, they introduced the Consumer Protection Act 1986, its features, importance and purpose. An interactive activity was also conducted in which all volunteers actively participated.

All the volunteers were effervescent throughout the club.

On 16th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a Current Affairs Club facilitated by Ms. Aishwarya and Ms. Bhoomika D.

The facilitators covered various topics including State, National, Sports, Buisness and Important Dates. They highlighted that Marco Rubio is expected to visit India in May to strengthen diplomatic ties. Further, they spoke about Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decision to keep the repo rate unchanged to maintain economic stability, unveiling of the first ever life size statue of Swami Vivekananda in Seattle, commencement of work on a 21 km bullet train tunnel in Mumbai. Atlast, they concluded with an important dates.

All the volunteers were active throughout the club.

On 15th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell conducted a Book Review Club on the book Pishachi Sedu facilitated by Ms. Pallavi D M and Ms. Yamuna S.

The facilitators began the club with a brief introduction to the author, N. Narasimhayya and introduced the main characters of the book. They explained the storyline and discussed the central theme of the book. They also highlighted how people in villages still believe in superstitions and follow traditional cultural practices even today. Overall, the book review provided informative insights into village life and its stories.

On 13th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell organized a Cultural Program .

The event began with an exciting 360° activity, which brought great joy and enthusiasm among the volunteers. The program was a wonderful celebration that created a lively and cheerful atmosphere. The entire event reminisced beautiful memories of Pathways and strengthened the bond. Overall, the cultural program was memorable and filled with joy and positivity.

On 11th April 2026, Pathways Training and Placement Cell conducted a Learn to Learn session titled 10 Amazing Facts of India facilitated by Mr. Bharath Naik R.

The facilitator explained several interesting unknown facts such as Taj Mahal is not a palace but a mausoleum, the existence of an anti gravity hill and India is the largest producer of films in the world. He also discussed how cows hold a sacred status in Indian culture, Hinduism is considered one of the oldest religions in the world along with many other fascinating facts. At last, a video related to recycling awareness was showcased to the volunteers.

All the volunteers were effervescent throughout the learn to learn session.
