Project description : donated old new clothes at RRR centre chota Shimla. Which is established under the Swachh Bharat Mission – Urban 2.0 and the "Meri LiFE, Mera Swachh Shehar" campaign by the Government of India. It Acts as a one-stop collection facility where citizens can deposit old, unused clothes. The collected goods are sorted, refurbished, distributed to underprivileged or lesser-privileged communities or sent for scientific recycling and upcycling.

Project title : seminar on women safety
In a decisive move to address growing concerns surrounding personal security and gender equality, Inner Wheel Club if Shimla successfully hosted a comprehensive seminar titled “Empowering Women: Strategies for Safety, Awareness, and Justice” at Vocational Centre, the Mall Shimla.
The seminar brought together law enforcement officials, legal experts, social activists, students, and community members to discuss actionable solutions, legal rights, and technological tools designed to ensure a safer environment for women in both public and professional spheres.
The event commenced with a keynote address by [High Court advocate Ms. Aakshi Sood], who emphasized that women's safety is not just a women's issue, but a societal responsibility. "True empowerment comes when fear is eliminated. We must foster an ecosystem where safety is guaranteed through stringent law enforcement, rapid response mechanisms, and a shift in cultural mindsets," stated.

Project description:

Inner Wheel club Shimla organised a talk on women rights by Advocate Aakshi Sood (high court) at Vocational Centre, The Mall Shimla. The girls were told about their rights and where they can go of they are feeling any kind of abuse (physical,mental or financial) at home or in the society.

The helpline numbers were given to her and oath was taken that we will secure our world.

The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families and provide children with the proper tools they need for a successful academic year. The bags were sponsored by joint secretary Mrs. Priyanka Vats and our inner wheel member Mrs. Aastha Mahajan Sood.

Project title: Inner Wheel Club of Shimla Extends Helping Hand to Needy Families in Jakhoo SHIMLA

Project description :
In continuation of its commitment to social service and community welfare, the Inner Wheel Club of Shimla (District 308) organized a humanitarian aid initiative to support two underprivileged families residing in the Jakhoo area of the city.
Recognizing the severe financial hardships and poor living conditions faced by these families, the members of the Inner Wheel Club Shimla stepped forward to provide them with essential resources to ensure their comfort, health, and children's education.
During the drive, the club distributed critical household items including mattresses, quilts, and pillows to protect the families from the upcoming winter chill sponsored by Dr. G.D. Sharma and Ms. Neha Sharma. In addition, warm winter clothing was provided sponsored by Mrs. Priyanka Vats and Raveena Jiandani alongside a comprehensive kit of full monthly rations (rashan) to address their immediate nutritional needs.
To ensure that the financial struggles of the families do not hinder their children’s education, the club also provided complete school kits. These kits included durable school bags and essential stationery items, allowing the children to continue their studies with dignity and enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, the Club president Dr. Kusha Pandit Chawla reiterated that the core objective of the Inner Wheel Club is to uplift the most vulnerable sections of society. By providing a blanket of comfort, daily sustenance, and educational tools, the club aims to bring a meaningful, positive transformation to the lives of these families.
The beneficiary families expressed their deep gratitude to the Inner Wheel Club of Shimla for this timely and compassionate intervention.
