To spread awareness among the people for the upliftment and development of the Himachal Pradesh. To bring the youth fraternity, students and other streams, NGOs, community and other civil Sangathan members under one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents for the furtherance of fellowship and also advancement of knowledge and awareness building in general of the co
mmunity and country.
2. To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops and meetings of professionals, NGOs, civil Sangathan and others for the purpose of promotion of relevant contemporary issues.
3. To spread awareness among the urban and the rural masses about their rights and duties towards the nation.
4. To spread awareness and work in the area of Education, Environment, Child Labor, Women Empowerment, Drug Abuse, Equality on the bases of cast, race, s*x, area etc, Housing, Health, Leadership development program, Unemployment, Gender equity, Livelihoods, Arts & Culture Promotion Legal and Social issues.
5. To create a platform for a people living in urban and rural areas where their potential can be put to social and commercial use and benefits of the same can be made available to them.
6. To help the people to raise their voice in getting their problems resolved which they face especially issues related to their rights and dignity.
7. To represent and participate in such seminars, conferences, workshops or meetings conducted by various groups, establishments and to seek recognition (representation) in various forum of State and Central Governments, Quasi Governmental Organizations, private and other Autonomous Bodies, with a view to contribute to the furtherance of the objectives of the Society.
8. To raise or collect funds by subscriptions, contributions, donations, loans or by any other legal means for furtherance of the above objectives of the Society.
9. To do all such acts, deeds and things as may be incidental, conductive to or necessary for the furtherance of the above objectives.
10. To encourage the community in general, and youth in particular, to interest themselves in social activities.
11. To undertake any such work as shall, in opinion of the governing body, tend to improve and to bring awareness mentioned in the earlier paras.
12. To do all things as might in the opinion of the governing body be conducive or ancillary to the carrying out of the Society's objects.
13. To educate the people and to inculcate into the people’s mind, ideals of national unity and patriotism.
15. To publish newspaper, magazine, journals on the above mentioned issues as decided by the governing body.
16. To provide help/shelter/facilities for old people, children and disabled persons for their welfare.
17. To work for the uplifting poor rural/village people for their overall development.
18. Provide scholarship/financial help to poor people for their overall development.
19. To provide free legal aid, medical aid and expert advice.
20. To undertake any other work which may be for the general welfare of the people as decided by the governing body.
21. To strengthen the basic education / vocational education system by way of opening the institutions in the areas where the Government machinery has not reached thereby supporting the needy and the Government.
22. Provide support services for strengthening grassroots self-governance/ local level institutions by designing training Programs, undertaking research and suggesting effective systems of management.
23. Undertake people oriented research and convert research studies to build abilities among community for undertaking implications of micro/macro interventions in community development.
24. Implement programs related to development at pilot or large scale emphasizing on the participation of communities in awareness building, saving/credit, income generation, education, health, medicinal & aromatic plants, water and sanitation, gender, environment, culture, watershed development, forestry, tourism, poverty alleviation, disability, human rights, destitute, old age and children, self development or any other program based on the people’s needs.
25. Provide professional services to the government, bilateral projects, donors, NGOs, community organizations for planning, implanting, monitoring and evaluation of small or large scale projects. Besides promotion of technology, science, art, literature, restoration of archeological structures, linguistics, publication etc. will also be undertaken by the society.
