Things are rarely as bad as they appear. Paul called adverse circumstances temporary light afflictions. When we consider things in the light of eternity and the greatness of our God, we can confidently face anything that comes our way. Keep your eyes on the goal expecting the joy that is set before you.

As ministers (servants) of the gospel we represent the Lord Jesus Christ. We have a responsibility to speak His Word. It is disturbing when I hear ministers say their position is evolving, and in actuality it is evolving away from the Word of God toward the acceptance of men. We have a responsibility to obey His Word and not pick and choose. Paul made an excellent statement along these lines. "For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men , I should not be the servant of Christ."

The ability to maintain your course in the midst of the storm has much to do with focus. Hence the importance for believers to meditate on the word of God because it helps you to focus and produce action according to that focus.
The Bible speaks multiple times of holding fast. When you think to let go, take time to meditate on the word that you have heard and hold fast professing His Word...hold fast that which is good (1Thes. 5:23)
Hold fast the form of sound words... (2 Tim. 1:13)
Holding fast the faithful word... (Tit. 1:9)..hold fast the confidence... (Heb 3:6)..hold fast our profession. (Heb. 4:14)..hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (Heb. 10:23)
But that which you have already hold fast till I come. (Rev. 2:25)
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast... (Rev. 3:3)..hold that fast which thou hast... (Rev. 3:11)

Encouragement to the weary.
Remember the Lord your God. Faithful is He who called you, and faithful to perform His Word. Do not allow discouragement to overcome you, if your expectations have not come or if you seem to be sidelined. Know that God is at work to complete what He started. Rest in His love, and be steadfast in discipline and diligent to obey. For the time will come when vision becomes reality and you will experience more than can be contained. Your cup will certainly run over.

Just want to remind all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Do not be conformed to the world.
The world will attempt to pressure you to thinking like them, behaving like them. We have a different perspective, a heavenly perspective, seated with Christ in heavenly places. Hold fast to words of sound teaching and not be moved by every wind blowing here and there in the world.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4
Have you ever been comforted by someone's experience in scripture. I always like reading about the way God has used people that would many times be viewed as disqualified or failures by the world. God has transforming power to make you into what you may not see, but what He sees. It takes a surrendered soul and dedication and the work of God will prosper in you.
Rhema Shillong is an excellent place to be further equipped for God's callling and purpose.
