Jharna Foundation feels proud and humbled at the same time to be associated with women from diverse fields contributing so much to our nation. Homemakers to professionals coming from various fields-all demonstrate the four “C”s. Courage, Conviction, Create and Contribute -either directly or indirectly to our nation.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day today, let us salute all the women who are braving every challenge with head held high and marching forward with renewed hope for our future young women! Wishing each of them a very Happy Women’s Day!

World Cancer Day is observed every year on 4th February to raise global awareness about cancer, promote prevention, early detection and also to encourage access to treatment and care. This year’s theme being “United by Unique” -it highlights the challeges one faces is always different from another individual, the experiences are different and unique to each one . Everyone fighting it, their families going through it, shared emotions are all different. Yet it unites individuals, communities, and governments to take action against one of the leading causes of death worldwide! Let us be aware, spread right information and more importantly encourage people to get their checkups done for any early detection symptoms and access to timely treatment!
