Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited
MMDSL) conducted POSH Training ( Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work Place) for all its employees and district officials in their main Headquarter which is based in Shillong, East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya and also at various District levels. The sessions were facilitated by our Jharna President who is also a part of their Internal Committee member.
This initiative by MMDSL was to ensure that all its employees at all level are not only aware of their rights but also about the POSH Policy which the organisation has in place as per mandated by the Government.
The sessions were followed by audio-visual rounds and Q& A along with case studies, Satrupa Bhattacharjee

Jharna Foundation feels proud and humbled at the same time to be associated with women from diverse fields contributing so much to our nation. World Cancer Day is observed every year on 4th February to raise global awareness about cancer, promote prevention, early detection and also to encourage access to treatment and care. This year’s theme being “United by Unique” -it highlights the challeges one faces is always different from another individual, the experiences are different and unique to each one . Everyone fighting it, their families going through it, shared emotions are all different. Yet it unites individuals, communities, and governments to take action against one of the leading causes of death worldwide! Let us be aware, spread right information and more importantly encourage people to get their checkups done for any early detection symptoms and access to timely treatment!
