Our boys completely dominated the game in the first half, creating numerous scoring opportunities, but unfortunately, they were unable to find the net, resulting in a 0-0 score at halftime.

However, in the second half, a silly mistake while appealing for offside allowed the opponent team to score, putting us down 1-0.

Two more goals conceded due to midfield errors ultimately changed the game's outcome, leading to a 3-0 loss.

Kudos to the boys for their strong performance, though - if they'd scored on those first-half chances, the result might have been different.

Badarisha Kharumnuid from PFR Football Academy, Shillong Meghalaya is set to make her debut in the Indian Women League Tier 2 (IWL 2) with Roots Football.

She represented PFR Football Academy in the Meghalaya Women State League 2025 and Shillong Sports Association Women League 2026.

Notably, she was awarded Best Defender in the Shillong Sports Association Women Football League.

We wish her success in her future endeavours.
