🤝 Emergency humanitarian aid was provided to 385 Household to internally displaced people living in relief camps in Moirang College,Mukta High School,Moirang Khunou,Kwakta Fabricate Relufe Camp A &B

🍚 Essential assistance distributed included rice, mixed pulses 🌾, potatoes 🥔, cooking oil 🫙, salt 🧂, tea ☕, turmeric powder 🟡, and chilli powder 🌶️, providing much needed support to displaced families in the relief camps.

🤝 The distribution was facilitated by Impulse Model State Partner Dr Lamabam Pishak Singh Secretary New Life Foundation Manipur ,with local assistance from the Lions Club of Moirang.

❤️ This humanitarian relief initiative is part of the Emergency Humanitarian Aid supported by Indian Collective Action, helping provide essential assistance to communities affected by displacement.

In observance of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2026, Impulse NGO Network conducted an awareness programme with students from the Departments of Education and Political Science, St. Mary’s College, Shillong.

Bariphylla Lyttan Team Lead & Case Manager Impulse NGO Network engaged students on understanding human trafficking through real life cases, encouraging discussion, questions and greater awareness of how trafficking occurs in reality.

⚖️ Advicate Enpannel ,Government of Meghalaya led a session on human trafficking, legal provisions, protection mechanisms and the rights of vulnerable persons, highlighting the legal response required to prevent trafficking and protect victims and survivors.

On 2 August, Akasaka Hiroki, Director of the Japan Information Service, attended “The Starlight Charity Concert”, held at the Science Centre for Education (Bangkok Planetarium) as part of the Tambun Project, brought he event was part of the Tambun Project, founded by Japanese singer songwriter Niitsuma Yukako, Japanese pianist-composer Miyano Hiroko, and project coordinator Yamagata Madoka.Japanese artists together with Thai children for a heartwarming performance.

The event also provided an important platform to highlight the work of organizations committed to combating human trafficking and supporting children who have experienced abuse and violence.

At Impulse NGO Network, we deeply value initiatives that use creativity, collaboration, and public awareness to strengthen the protection of children and amplify the collective fight against human trafficking.

Every child deserves to be safe, protected, heard, and given the opportunity to thrive.

My internship at Impulse NGO Network was a rewarding learning experience that enhanced my professional and personal growth. I gained practical experience in accounting, documentation, drafting official letters, and reviewing human trafficking case files. Field visits gave me insight into the organization's work in rehabilitation, advocacy, and community empowerment. I am grateful for the guidance and support I received, and the knowledge gained will benefit me throughout my future career.
