The 3rd Shillong CALM (Creative Arts, Literature & Music) festival - 21-24 May 2014 at State Central Library, Shillong. Organised by the Department of Arts and Culture, Government of Meghalaya in collaboration with the Sahaki Society, CALM 2014 has expanded its repertoire by building bridges with our neighbouring countries Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. y exciting programmes including literary and societal discussions, career-oriented workshops on photography, creative writing, theatre, advertising, painting and sculpture, documentaries on environmental issues; conversations, book launches and panel discussions by regional and national artists, writers, filmmakers, journalists, actors and other interesting personalities. Evening shows include country and blues musical shows and stand-up comedy. Apart from music, art and literature, CALM 2014 has food stalls showcasing the native cuisine of the North East, alongside art and craft exhibitions and book stalls at the venue.
