Under this program, 11 Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) from different regions of the state were provided with free startup kits. The kits were formally distributed by the Block Officer of Mairang Block, adding dignity and strong administrative support to the event. This initiative marks an important step towards providing work-from-home livelihood opportunities and promoting self-reliance among rural women.

She explained the complete working model of the Zero Risk Business approach, the role of CLFs, income-generation opportunities for women, and the importance of BIS-certified reusable sanitary pads in a clear and impactful manner.
Key Highlights:

On this occasion, Mrs. Pushpa Bajaj, President of Shubham Charitable Association, stated:
“Our aim is not just to provide employment, but to ensure dignity, health security, and environmental awareness for women. This Zero Risk Model will bring new confidence and direction into their lives.”
She further added that in the coming phase, all 101 CLFs across Meghalaya will be engaged as ambassadors, connecting thousands of women and contributing towards building a strong and self-reliant society.
The program was successfully conducted with the support of the local community, women groups, and administration. There are plans to expand this initiative across other districts of the state in the near future.
