As we pass the halfway point of the Rickshaw Run I wanted to give an update for our friends and family back home! While we haven't had as much of a chance to keep up to date on social media, I assure you we are safe and sound, we took a slow morning in Seoni(The town Mowgli is from in The Jungle Book)! We have been pushing really hard to catch back up to the rest of the pack to make the finish line in time, with that we have not had very much time to stop and experience much in India, when we do stop we get intense moments. Like this photo from yesterday where we were stopped in Nagpur waiting for a part and a large school of kids got out of school next door to the auto parts stand! Almost all of them wanted to talk to us,ask us where we are from, practice their English, wave or take a selfie! In the moment, it felt like too much 1000s of kids vying for any of our attention, while we are stressed and wanting to get on the road. But looking back it's these moments we will take home with us, where just a wave made these kids days!
