Raj Bhavan Hosts Children's Day Celebrations .Few students from Mary Rice Centre for Special Education, along with their parents, were given the opportunity to celebrate the day with the Governor. This was a momentous occasion, and it was an honor to be a part of it. Parents took a break from their schedules to spend quality time with their children. We appreciate the parents' efforts in making this day a cherished memory.

Students from the Junior and Senior Sections embarked on an excursion to Chandra Park and Jingkyrmen Park in Smit, Shillong. This outing was a lively and fun-filled experience. The bus ride from Laimukhrah to Smit was a wonderful journey, with students dancing to every beat of music. It was delightful to see the students savoring their packed lunch, complete with snacks and treats. Being surrounded by towering trees and the freshness of pine trees was incredibly soothing. The trip was both enjoyable and memorable.

A fun-filled day at Golflink provided our lower primary students with a unique opportunity to connect with Nature .The bus ride from Laimukhrah was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, setting the tone for a day filled with excitement.. This outing was an invaluable experience that will leave a lasting impact on our students. We are thankful for the trust parents have placed in us, allowing us to provide a safe and supportive environment for their children.

Bah Timmy, a distinguished personality in Shillong, has graciously joined us to commemorate Teacher's Day. His well-deserved fame as a singer was evident in the song he performed, which he composed himself, paying tribute to those who care for children with special needs, including his own child. The song's lyrics convey a powerful message. Bah Timmy mentioned that although the song is not yet complete, it already carries substantial weight. After some deliberation, I decided to share this, as I believe it is worthy of attention from our esteemed audience. This tribute is dedicated to all special educators and caregivers of children with special needs. Our gratitude goes to Bah Timmy. 🎉🌟🎶🙏

Celebrated the 79th Independence Day.
We are deeply honored to have in our midst the Rangbah Shnong of Laitumkhrah Shri A. Jyrwa and his beloved wife as the Special Guest for this occasion, the Members of the Managing Committee,the Members from the Society for the Welfare of the Disabled and all our dear Parents,Grandparents and the care taker of our students.
The students enthralled the audience with their special talents to dress as some of the freedom fighters of our Country.
They also delighted us with the patriotic song Vande Mataram.
Our young super talented students dance to the beat of Jai ho!
What a performance each and every have child have put up.
Their ability to follow and remember all the details of what was taught has left all of us speechless....Keep it up students ! We are all so proud of you.
