मेघालय नेपाली साहित्य सम्मेलन Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan All Shillong Bhanu Jayanti Celebration Committee was renamed as Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan in 2017 keeping in view to give broader area.

The birth of M.N.S.S has emotional significant towards the lovers of literary and cultural taste of Gorkha's. All Shillong Bhanu Jayanti Celebration Committee (ASBJCC) was renamed as Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan (MNSS) in 2017 keeping in view to give broader area. It was felt that a statewide strong literary organization is needed to cater the various literary need of Nepali speaking

Gorkha population of Meghalaya by bringing them all in one fold. Suggestion came from different sections of Gorkha Population to entrust ASBJCC to fulfil this aspiration. In view of above , the birth of M.N.S.S has emotional significant towards the lovers of literary and cultural taste.
