"Hati Sabha" was held at Ramjee Mahavidyalaya, Bhismagiri, organized by Dharitri, Orissa Post, Tree Foundation(Sheragada) & Bikash Saathi. Principal Nihar Ranjan Kar spoke on elephants’ ecological importance, while Ashesnath Mishra highlighted local impacts. Nirakar Bisoyi, Secretary of Tree Foundation, spoke on elephant behavior and conservation, emphasizing that “elephants save forests, forests save water, water saves soil, and together they save humanity.”. Over 120 students joined & took a pledge for elephant protection, & the event was coordinated by Prof. Debabrata Panda with support from Tushar Behera, Achyuta Bishoyi, and Chandrasekhar Das of Bikash Saathi.
