YouthAct Year in review 2017
The year is coming to a close even though it feels like it was January 2017 only yesterday. It’s been a busy year at , It's been a year of highs and lows and everything in between, full of exciting changes, but one thing is certain: all of us are satisfied (though we'll not remain in this zone for long) with what we've achieved in 2017.
Over the holidays we all want to take time to celebrate, reflect and stay in touch with the people we love. That said, we bring to you, our year in review as a sign of our gratitude for being good and kind to us throughout the year.
We organized/attended 30 events in 2017, both in our home state and outside. Members of the YouthAct team talked at conferences, organised workshops, and shared their knowledge.
YouthAct's pet project 'Educate.One.By.One' has been gaining steam by providing a scholarship of Rs, 5000/- only to 20 deserving students drawn out from various schools/colleges. We plan to expand this project to benefit 100 students by 2020.
YouthAct collaborated with Herald today to organize a relief drive for the CCM orphanage, The response to the donation drive was to say the least, overwhelming.
YouthAct & PNTM jointly organized the 30th Anniversary of 'Operation Bluebird' on 9th July'17. Efforts are still on to make it a Pan Naga Commemoration and give the martyrs & victims recognition due to them.
YouthAct was the NGO partner to the 'Manipur Education Expo 17' which arguably has been the best and largest event of its kind in the entire state.
Besides, members of our family has been nominated to various district administration/civil Society organisations mandated committees this year.
It’s been a great year and we would like to thank you all for your continued love and support. we’re looking forward to bring about equitable development in all spheres of life in 2018.
Happy holidays!
