Sponsorship orientation program for the academic year 2023-2024 have been successfully organised in the presence of on 25 of March, 2023. The program was attended with a huge crowd both from the sponsored students and parents. Nearly 500 parents and students participated the program welcoming Sunbird Trust team member Mr. Janthuiyang RK John, Sponsorship Co-ordination and Ms. Chitra Suvarna, School leader.
EDAH Foundation with the support of our partner organization Sunbird Trust is sponsoring 250 students in 15 different schools in the district for the academic year 2023-2024. Last year a total number of 100 students from 10 schools were sponsored through our partner organization.
Our Founder & CEO Mr. Loli Kaikho shared the origin and the work EDAH Foundation have done and achieved so far. “Take this sponsorship as an opportunity, we are not asking you to be perfect but you can to be a perfect human being. We are here to do business with you all where we give you something and you give us something in return. We are not doing this for ourself, but whatever we are doing is for you all. Give your best not only in your studies but participate in every extra curricular activities. Do not wait for the opportunity by grab it”, said by him to the students.
Ms. Chitra Survana gave a brief introduction on what Sunbird Trust do and who founded the organization. Mr. Janthuiyang RK John shared details about the sponsorship project.
We are also delighted to have Mr. Abraham Manikho in our midst who came to witness and support us with his presence.
Thanking Father Philip who graced and blessed the program and welcoming our partner organization team members with a welcome song from his school.
We are grateful to all our sponsored schools who have co-operated and supported us in whatever ways possible to make this program a grand success.
Also thanking Tadubi Town committed (TTC) for letting us organise the program in their community hall and special thanks to Tadubi Youth and Student Organization (TYSO) for extending their help who also played a vital role in making the program a grant success.
