Erstwhile Sankara Bhaktha Sabha, now known as Sankara Bhaktha Sabha Trust, a newly constituted body and registered as a non-profitable Charitable Trust was started in the year 1968 with the blessings of His Holiness Paramacharyal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. The Sabha with the supreme grace of the Divine and the ever-flowing compassion of the great Acharyals of Kanchi has been successfully rendering yeoman service in Religious & Spiritual Activities. Sri Sankara Gurukula Veda Patasala was started in the year 1984, by the Grace of His Holiness Sri Paramacharyal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, in the twin cities of Secunderabad & Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh with Three Vidyarthis under Bhashya Ratna Sri R.Venkatrama Ghanapadigal who is one of the very few Eminent Vedic Scholars in the Country. As the Strength of the Patasala has been steadily increasing, Sri Paramacharyal directed that a seperate trust be instituted for further growth and upkeep of the Patasala. Accordingly, in the year 1992, a Trust was constituted and Registered as a Non profitable Charitable Trust under Indian Trusts Act.
