✨ Mudita, RISE Event – 21st March 2026 ✨

What a truly wonderful and memorable experience it was! 💫
Three cheers to the host club RBBR! 👏 Our club was proud to be a partner in this beautiful celebration.

The arrangements were exceptional—from an elaborate high tea to a full-fledged dinner. The games and activities added to the lively atmosphere and kept everyone engaged. 🎉

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly “Blitz & Glitz – Brides & Grooms of India” 👰🤵
Presidents and Rotarians walked the ramp with elegance, representing different states of India. A proud moment for Palmville as our President, Rtn. Pallavi Agrawal, participated as a Punjabi bride—truly making our club proud! ❤️

The “Fierce & Fearless” fireside chat and panel discussion was very thought-provoking. We are especially proud that from our club, Rtn. Sharma Bakre anchored this segment so wonderfully. 👏

A significant moment of the evening was the release of the coffee table book “Indelible Lines – Stories of Women of Substance”, to which our club contributed three inspiring stories. 📖

The cultural program celebrating women’s empowerment was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

✨ Overall, a well-organized and enriching event that perfectly blended celebration, inspiration, and fellowship.

Empowering the Visually Impaired Through Technology 🌟

Rotary Bangalore Palmville, in collaboration with UOR CARES Foundation, is proud to support an impactful initiative aimed at empowering visually impaired individuals through digital education and skill development. As part of our commitment to inclusive community growth, we have strengthened the infrastructure at Renuka Academy for the Visually Impaired by providing essential equipment including computers, routers, Braille tools, LAN cables, CCTV cameras, tables, and chairs.

Renuka Academy will equip visually impaired individuals with essential digital and AI skills. The program will cover Microsoft Word, Excel, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Kannada Nudi typing, and practical AI tools—helping participants build confidence, independence, and readiness for education and employment opportunities.

This initiative will create a lasting impact—not only supporting Mr. Rangaswamy, the founder, but also empowering many visually impaired students with skills that open doors to independent livelihoods and a brighter future.

✨ A meaningful step by Rotary towards digital inclusion and empowerment.

Rotary Bangalore Palmville, in collaboration with the Lions Club and under the guidance of Dr. Raghunath, proudly felicitated 180 ASHA health workers and women staff serving in PHCs across Bangalore East Taluk on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

The event was held on March 9, 2026 at Udupi Park Hotel. It was a heartfelt celebration recognizing the dedication and tireless service of these frontline women who play a crucial role in strengthening community healthcare.

As a token of appreciation, Rotary Bangalore Palmville donated sarees to the women honoured during the event. The evening also featured a fun fashion show and a fellowship dinner, creating a joyful and memorable experience for all the participants.

It was truly inspiring to celebrate and appreciate the incredible women who work selflessly for the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Project: Classroom Infrastructure Support

The Rotary Club of Bangalore Palmville provided 7 green boards to Government High School, Bagivalu (Holenarasipura Taluk, Hassan District) to improve classroom learning conditions.

Earlier, the school relied on traditional chalk boards which produced excessive chalk dust, affecting both students and teachers. By installing green boards, the classrooms now have a cleaner, healthier, and more effective teaching environment.

This small but meaningful infrastructure upgrade will benefit many students every year and support better learning outcomes.

Sambhrama — a wonderful event hosted on 22nd February to celebrate the 121st birthday of Rotary International.

The highlight of the evening was “Miracle on Wheels”, where differently-abled performers presented an absolutely inspiring and heart-touching show.

Proud that our club extended its support to this beautiful celebration of resilience, talent, and the true spirit of inclusion.
It was a very well organised program.

Project Udaan – Education, Livelihood & Beyond 💻

We’re happy to share that Rotary Bangalore Palmville has received 150 refurbished laptops from Mphasis!

These well-maintained laptops will be given to deserving beneficiaries — including college students and aspiring Chartered Accountants — supported by Swabhimaan Trust (working with the Ejipura community) and We Live Foundation (helping youth transitioning out of orphanages towards independent living).

Access to technology today is not a luxury, but a necessity. Through Udaan, we aim to empower young minds with tools for education, skills, careers, and brighter futures.

A small step… creating meaningful opportunities and lasting impact. 🌱
