Mahendra Nath Das was born on 1st July 1924 in a middle class family in Banladash. His father late Lokenath Das was a law Clerk andhis mother was a house wife. After completing his school life he joined in Indian Navy and face to World War under British rule. He has received many prestigious awards and honours. ief in Kolkata Port Trust with credit. Das meet popular cloth merchant daugher of Doltram D. CHOTIRMALL named Miss. Laxmi a lively and attractive lady Navy Nagar in Mumbai. They gradually fell in love and married in 1956. They had two sons and two daughter and now all are well established. He died on 5th Sept, 2006. Their immortal love never Silent and song of the earth continuous for ever. In memory of parents his elder son Lakshman Nath Das (Chandan) launched Footpath NGO take shelter/ help street child, men, women and orphan also.
