What happens to a piece of wood left in the forest for a whole year? 🌳🪵

AERO revisited its experimental plots in Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary to collect and weigh decomposed wood that was carefully kept in exclosures for one year, helping us understand how fast wood turns into soil and how forests recycle nutrients.
