We are thrilled to share the success of a recent thought leadership exchange program hosted by Capgemini's Applied Innovation Exchange, India team, and the Life Sciences industry platform on the theme "Innovation Meets Health: Breaking Barriers and Shaping the Future of Life Sciences."
During this impactful event held at the GAR facility in Hyderabad, we were honoured to have Prof. Renu John participate in a panel discussion on “Connected Digital Health - Driving Patient Outcomes.”
Prof. Renu John’s insights on “Next-Gen Innovations” were invaluable, greatly enriching the conversation and contributing to the event’s success. His visionary perspectives are key to driving future innovations in life sciences and healthcare.

We were honored to have CfHE Vagbhata Chair Professor Dr. Raj Kothapalli, Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, speak to our students on the fascinating topic of "Lights, Sound, and Action: Multimodal Ultrasound and Photoacoustic Imaging Strategies for Pre-clinical and Clinical Applications." @ IIT Hyderabad.

Dr. Kothapalli shared his groundbreaking work, including:

a. The first-in-human prostate cancer imaging using a transrectal endoscope.
b. Development of a portable system for diagnosing peripheral arterial disease in resource-poor settings.
c. Innovative research into brain cancer mechanisms and neural activity in pre-clinical rodent models.

We are grateful for the insights and inspiration provided by Dr. Kothapalli, as our students continue to explore the intersection of technology and healthcare.

Recap of an Incredible Event!

The MASTER Forum (Mentoring and Assistance for Successful Translational and Entrepreneurial Research) was a resounding success! Hosted by the Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE) in collaboration with Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), the event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs and researchers for a day filled with insights and resources.

Attendees had the opportunity to:

🔹 Explore Funding Opportunities , including i4 and PACE schemes.

🔹 Dive into a Hands-On Grant Writing Workshop, gaining practical skills.

🔹 Engage in lively discussions during the Q&A session, led by industry experts.

We were honored to have Dr. Sonali Tandon (Chief Manager, Investment) and Dr. Prachi Kaushik (Senior Manager, Investment) from BIRAC as our esteemed Keynote Speakers. Their expertise enriched the event and provided invaluable guidance to all participants.
