Young Indians Salem Chapter Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the CII and "To become the Voice of Young Indians Globally

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the CII and was formed in 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. It has around 1800 members in 33 city chapters across 23 states and engages around 10000 students through its institutional network: ‘Yuva’. The membership of Yi includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21

& 40 and comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life. Yi initiates and organizes around 550 activities in a year impacting close to 6 lakh people and is the only organisation in India that represents the country at the G20 and the Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs. Yi is also officially represented at the Global Entrepreneurship Week in India and at the National Volunteering Week (www.youngindians.net).
