Visit to National Association for the Blind , Delhi

A meaningful and inspiring visit was organized to the National Association for Blind, Delhi, along with the families of Major Mohit Sharma AC, SM and Captain Shubham Gupta, SM. The visit aimed to sensitize children to values of courage, sacrifice, empathy, and resilience through real-life stories of valor and service to the nation.

During the interaction, the brothers of Major Mohit Sharma and Captain Shubham Gupta shared deeply moving stories from the lives of these brave officers. They spoke about their childhood, values, discipline, sense of duty, and the extraordinary courage they displayed while serving the country. Their narratives highlighted how determination, selflessness, and love for the nation shaped these heroes and ultimately led them to make the supreme sacrifice.

The children listened with great attention and respect as they learned about the officers’ acts of bravery and the challenges they overcame. On 13th January 2026, Mohit's 48th birthday was celebrated by family and friends by visiting his statue, paying homage, later celebrating it at an orphanage with sweet lil kids and in the evening when his nieces and nephew cutting the cake along with his parents.

This is how the Orkut Page of Major Mohit Sharma looked liked when it was started in March 2009 by one of his very close friend, who later made us the admin.
Orkut became obsolete in September 2014 when I took the screenshot of this page for our Memory.
Today sharing it with the wider community and expect the same love to get from the people that was showered from 2009-2014.

This is about the fan page major_mohitsharma run by someone I m not aware...I dont know it's authencity...but sharing how this person has changed his/her name in past....and how they have been using Mohit's family pics, without consent and is threat to the security of the family.
I dont know the motive but that is not acceptable to the family.

The page says dont post without the credit to the owner but what about it's credibility.
