Its main focus is on community, for the overall human development, that relies on science and technology through developing its skills and capacities for better living conditions and access to resources. As an agency for human community empowerment we devise and implement programmes built in with growth strategies keeping in mind the particularities and special needs among communities it works. Our Developmental Agenda includes Community Mobilization, Awareness Generation, Capacity Building, Issue based Campaigns, Training on Resource Conservation and Management, Formation and Management of cohesive Women Self Help Groups, Promotion of Handicrafts, Child Care, RCH, Community Health and Prevention and Control of HIV & AIDS through strategic interventions. Dissemination of Technology, Skill and Information is another important issue in front of Development Profession. Tribal, the most vulnerable social group in India are in a cross road of dilemma and have no/ poor access on basic needs – Education, health, shelter and livelihood.... Realising these dynamics we are working in Bastar Region of Chhattisgarh for Tribal welfare and development accepting them “As they are and where they are” without disturbing the Nature and their Nature. Apiculture – Bee Keeping:

In Bastar Region (C.G) we have taken apiculture as a major livelihood activity for tribal development along with sustainable agriculture to complement each other protecting the flora and fauna in the regional forest eco system; Organised Rural Tribal HHs groups, imparted capacity building and skill training programs and graduated them to microenterprises…. with a long vision of natural organic honey producing institution building supported with strong handholding and developed backward and forward linkages ….…. Health Outreach – Mobile Medical Units

Access to Health perceived as one of the biggest challenge the humanity is facing. Our interventions include both preventive and curative (after care). Our Community Mobile Medical Units (CMMU) are already working in community care services conducting medical camps, diagnosis, referrals and awareness campaigns. It includes community based approaches in prevention, control and after care of all diseases, massive awareness and other innovative approaches in developing strategies to eradicate life threatening infections from the world. Global Warming - Promotion of Renewable Energy
We focus on promotion of nonconventional renewable energy as a major step to fight Global Warming along with other community interventions like preservation and protection of forests, water bodies, Community forestation etc. PARTNERSHIPS

പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ടിന് എതിരായ കേന്ദ്ര അന്വേഷണ ഏജൻസികളുടെ റെയിഡ് ഇന്ത്യ ഒട്ടാകെ ഇന്നും തുടരുകയാണ്. RSS നെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സംഘടനയാണ് പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് എന്നാണ് അവരെ ന്യായീകരിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ പറയുന്നത്. NDF, PDP, പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് തുടങ്ങിയ സംഘടനകൾക്ക് തുടക്കം ഇട്ടത് ബിജെപിക്ക് രാഷ്ട്രീയമായി യാതൊരു സ്വാധീനവും ഇല്ലാത്ത കേരളത്തിലാണ് എന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് തന്നെ RSS പ്രതിരോധം എന്ന അവകാശവാദത്തിലെ പൊള്ളത്തരം വ്യക്തമാണ്.

നാദാപുരം വടകര മേഖലയിൽ 1980 കാലഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ കമ്മ്യുണിസ്റ്റുകാരുമായി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സംഘർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് തിരിച്ചടി കൊടുക്കാനാണ് നാദാപുരം ഡിഫൻസ് ഫോഴ്‌സ് എന്ന സംഘടന രൂപീകരിക്കുകയും, 1989 ഇൽ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി National Development Front (NDF) എന്ന പേരിലേക്ക് മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 1997 ഇൽ കോഴിക്കോട് വെച്ച് മനുഷ്യാവകാശ സമ്മേളനം എന്ന പേരിൽ NDF ഒരു പരിപാടി നടത്തുകയും Human Rights Organizations (CHRO) എന്ന സംഘടന രൂപീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

RSS നോ ബിജെപിക്കോ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭരണത്തിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും സ്വാധീനം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്ന് ആരും സ്വപനം പോലും കാണാത്ത 1977 ലാണ് ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ അലിഗർഹ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നത്. അമേരിക്കയിൽ ഉണ്ടായ 9/11 ആക്രമണത്തെ തുടർന്ന് SIMI ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നടത്തുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ വിലയിരുത്തി 2001 ഇൽ SIMI യെയും, 2002 ലെ മാറാട് കൂട്ടക്കൊലയെ തുടർന്ന് NDF നെയും വാജ്‌പേയ് സർക്കാർ നിരോധിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.

2006 ലാണ് SIMI യിലും NDF ലും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നവർ SIMI യുമായി സഹകരിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) യെയും കൂട്ടി പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നത്. RSS നെ എതിർക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ലക്‌ഷ്യം എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോളും ക്രൈസ്തവ ഭൂരിപക്ഷ മേഖലകളായ ആലുവ, പെരുമ്പാവൂർ, മുവാറ്റുപുഴ, തൊടുപുഴ, ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ട, കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി, മുണ്ടക്കയം, പത്തനംതിട്ട എന്ന മേഖലകളിലാണ് പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് ശക്തി പ്രാപിച്ചത്.

മലയോര മേഖലകളിൽ കാർഷിക വൃത്തി ചെയ്തു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഉല്പന്നങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കച്ചവടങ്ങളാണ് ഈ മേഖലകളിൽ എല്ലാം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ക്രൈസ്തവർ വർഗീയമായി ചിന്തിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഈ മേഖലകളിൽ ഒന്നും വാണിജ്യപരമായി മുസ്ലിം കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റിക്ക് വളരാൻ സാധിക്കുക ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. ക്രൈസ്തവരും, ഹൈന്ദവരും, മുസ്ലിങ്ങളും വളരെ സമാധാനപരമായി കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് എന്ന സംഘടനയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് അസ്വസ്ഥത ആരംഭിച്ചത്.

പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ടിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് വലിയ തുകകൾ ലഭിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയതോടെ അപകടകരമായ രീതിയിലേക്ക് സംഘടന വളർന്നു. ചുരുങ്ങിയ സമയം കൊണ്ട് വളർന്നു വികസിച്ച പല പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെയും ഫണ്ടിംഗ് പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ടാണ് എന്ന സംസാരം കാലങ്ങളായി ഉണ്ട്. കാർഷിക മേഖലയിലെ വിലയിടിവും, കള്ളപ്പണക്കാർ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ വിലക്കയറ്റവും, തൊഴിൽ ഇല്ലായ്മയും കൊണ്ട് ക്രൈസ്തവ യുവത്വം നാട് വിടേണ്ട അവസ്ഥ ആയപ്പോൾ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരുടെ ഒളിഞ്ഞും തെളിഞ്ഞുമുള്ള പിന്തുണയോടെ പരസ്യമായി കൊലവിളി നടത്താവുന്ന അവസ്ഥയിലേക്ക് പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് വളരുകയാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്.

SDPI, ക്യാമ്പസ് ഫ്രണ്ട്, വിമൻസ് ഫ്രണ്ട് തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി പോഷക സംഘടനകളിലൂടെ വളർന്നു വികസിച്ചു ഇതര മതസ്ഥരുടെ സാമൂഹിക ജീവിതത്തിന് പ്രശ്നം സൃഷ്ട്ടിച്ചതോടെയാണ് സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയായിലും പുറത്തും പ്രതികരണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായത്. പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് പോലുള്ളവരുടെ നിയമവിരുദ്ധ മാനവികവിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ വിമർശിച്ചാൽ പോലും ഇസ്ലാമോഫോബിയയും, വർഗീയതയും ആരോപിച്ചു നിശ്ശബ്ദരാക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമമാണ് രാഷ്ട്രീയ നേതൃത്വങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഉൾപ്പടെ ഉണ്ടായി കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്.

ജനസംഖ്യാപരമായും സാമ്പത്തികമായും ഉള്ള സ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് രാഷ്ട്രീയ നേതാക്കളെ ചെൽപ്പടിയിൽ നിർത്തി എന്തും ചെയ്യും എന്ന പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ടിന്റെ അഹന്തക്കാണ് ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ഒക്‌ടോപ്പസിലൂടെ കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ മറുപടി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. കേരളത്തിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ വ്യവസ്ഥിതി എന്തായാലും കേരളത്തിൽ സമാധാനത്തോടെ ജീവിക്കാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ ഉണ്ടാക്കും എന്ന തിരിച്ചറിവ് വലിയ ആത്മവിശ്വാസമാണ് സമാധാന പ്രിയരായ മനുഷ്യർക്ക് കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. അടിമത്തം ഒരു മാനസിക അവസ്ഥയാണ് കാരണങ്ങൾ പലതാണ് സാമ്പത്തികമായ കാരണങ്ങൾ ആകാം വ്യവസായികമായ കാരണങ്ങൾ ആകാം സാംസ്കാരികമായ കാരണങ്ങളാകാം മതപരമായ ജാതിപരമായ അങ്ങനെ പല കാരണങ്ങളുണ്ട് പക്ഷേ അടിമത്തമാണ് മാനവികത കണ്ട മനുഷ്യരാശി കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ദുര്യോഗം എന്നുതന്നെയാണ് എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം. അതിനെയൊക്കെ എത്ര വെള്ളപൂശാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചാലും അത് നിരർധകമാകുകയേയുള്ളൂ. വിസ്താര വാദികളുടെയും വിസ്താര വാദത്തിന്റെയും പതനം നമ്മൾ പലപ്പോഴും കണ്ടതാണ്. ഇറാഖിന്റെ പതനവും അതിൽ മറ്റൊന്ന് തന്നെയാണ്. സിവിലൈസേഷൻ എന്ന് നാം വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് മനുഷ്യ സംസ്കാരത്തിന്റെ സംഗലനവും ലോപനവും മിശ്രണവും വിലീനമാകലും ഒക്കെ കൊണ്ട് ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞുവരുന്ന ഒരു പുതിയ ജീവിതക്രമത്തെയാണ്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും അടിമത്തത്തിൽ ബലമായി അടിച്ചേൽപ്പിച്ചത് എന്തും നല്ലതാണ് എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ ആളല്ല. പക്ഷേ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ അനന്തര ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഈ അടിമത്തം പല രൂപത്തിൽ ഇന്നും വ്യവസ്ഥാപിതമായി തന്നെ കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്നു എന്നത് ഒരു പ്രത്യേകത തന്നെയാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെയാണ് ഇത് മനസ്സിന്റെ ഒരു അവസ്ഥയാണെന്ന് ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്.
പിന്നെ യൂറോപ്പിലേക്കും മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഒക്കെയുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റം അത് കുടിയേറുന്ന ആൾക്ക് എത്രത്തോളം ആവശ്യമാണോ അതിനേക്കാളും എത്രയോ മടങ്ങ് കുടിയേറ്റക്കാരെ ക്ഷണിക്കുന്ന സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യത്തിന്റെതന്നെ ആവശ്യമാണ് എന്ന കാര്യവും മറക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണ്. ഇതിനെ കൂടുതൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നതിനായി ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ മാറ്റങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കുന്നത് സഹായകമാണ്. .

പക്ഷേ വീണ്ടും പറയുകയാണ് അടിമത്തം മനസ്സിന്റെ ഒരു അവസ്ഥയാണ്
