ng community capabilities in the area of Livelihoods, Micro-enterprise & Entrepreneurship Development, Gender Equality & Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Environment & Resource Conservation etc. through Techno-Social Research, Participatory Interventions and Synergetic Alliances with various Government and other Development Agencies. Its main focus is on community, for the overall human development, that relies on science and technology through developing its skills and capacities for better living conditions and access to resources. As an agency for human community empowerment we devise and implement programmes built in with growth strategies keeping in mind the particularities and special needs among communities it works. Our Developmental Agenda includes Community Mobilization, Awareness Generation, Capacity Building, Issue based Campaigns, Training on Resource Conservation and Management, Formation and Management of cohesive Women Self Help Groups, Promotion of Handicrafts, Child Care, RCH, Community Health and Prevention and Control of HIV & AIDS through strategic interventions. Marketing is a crucial issue in front of all livelihood development programs – SHGs & Micro-enterprise development, altogether Entrepreneurship Development. To overcome this we organise exhibitions, trade fares, craft bazaars, buyer-seller meets, SSI Summits, Network development, Market Linkage Development, Branding and Promotion activities across the country. Dissemination of Technology, Skill and Information is another important issue in front of Development Profession. Making poor to accept new changes through various dissemination programmes like workshops, Training programmes and conferences is an important agenda and have been carrying out successfully across the country making it a successful tool of development penetration among poor and most vulnerable section of the society. Lobbying and Policy Advocacy is an important responsibility of Development Professionals and agencies in Democracy. Here fighting for the underserved through lobbying and policy advocacy is an important activity in our Agenda and all its members are striving for it across the Nation rejecting the threats of established local norms and tough terrain geographies. Tribal, the most vulnerable social group in India are in a cross road of dilemma and have no/ poor access on basic needs – Education, health, shelter and livelihood.... Realising these dynamics we are working in Bastar Region of Chhattisgarh for Tribal welfare and development accepting them “As they are and where they are” without disturbing the Nature and their Nature. Apiculture – Bee Keeping:
In Bastar Region (C.G) we have taken apiculture as a major livelihood activity for tribal development along with sustainable agriculture to complement each other protecting the flora and fauna in the regional forest eco system; Organised Rural Tribal HHs groups, imparted capacity building and skill training programs and graduated them to microenterprises…. with a long vision of natural organic honey producing institution building supported with strong handholding and developed backward and forward linkages ….…. Health Outreach – Mobile Medical Units
Access to Health perceived as one of the biggest challenge the humanity is facing. Our interventions include both preventive and curative (after care). Our Community Mobile Medical Units (CMMU) are already working in community care services conducting medical camps, diagnosis, referrals and awareness campaigns. It includes community based approaches in prevention, control and after care of all diseases, massive awareness and other innovative approaches in developing strategies to eradicate life threatening infections from the world. Global Warming - Promotion of Renewable Energy
We focus on promotion of nonconventional renewable energy as a major step to fight Global Warming along with other community interventions like preservation and protection of forests, water bodies, Community forestation etc. PARTNERSHIPS
