We were delighted to welcome Dr. Anita Aggarwal, Head, Science for Equity, Empowerment and Development (SEED), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, to FTBI, NIT Rourkela, today.

On 21 August 2026, FTBI, NIT Rourkela celebrated World Entrepreneurship Day by bringing together inspiring entrepreneurs, NIT Rourkela alumni, startup founders, students and members of the FTBI ecosystem for an evening of stories, learning, inspiration and entrepreneurial spirit.

🚀 From Incubation to National Impact: Coratia Technologies' Journey with FTBI, NIT Rourkela

At Foundation for Technology & Business Incubation (FTBI), NIT Rourkela, we take immense pride in the remarkable journey of Coratia Technologies, one of our successful deep-tech startups.

Incubated at FTBI in 2021, Coratia was founded by NIT Rourkela alumni Debendra Pradhan and Biswajit Swain with a vision to build indigenous underwater robotic systems for India. Today, that vision has become a national success story.
